Republican South Carolina Senator Lindsay Graham, in a just-concluded interview with Judy Woodruff of CNN's Inside Politics, somehow managed to compare his support of the filibuster deal with the bravery of our soldiers dying in Iraq.
He said: "Over in Iraq, we have soldiers dying and others being wounded, and all of them are subject to being shot at. They didn't have to volunteer to join the military. And I didn't have to change my vote to support this filibuster plan. But I did it for the good of the country."
Yes, he said it!

He must be on some sort of nose candy if he thinks his "bravery" on the filibusters has any sort of comparisons with our brave men and women in Iraq or elsewhere.
What an idiot!

Strange quote. I'm not sure what he's saying. But if I could figure it out, I probably wouldn't like the answer.

Lyndsey Graham needs to shut-up. He is just being McCain lite and if he thinks he has a future in getting elected to higher office, he can kiss that future good-bye as far as I am concerned. He sold out the Majority Leader and all of our Conservative Republican Senators like my two from Oklahoma. If he considers that honorable and has the audacity to compare that to the men fighting in Iraq, then he is one Senator, I don't want to know and hope he loses his seat when it comes up for re-election.

If Lindsey were in the military, he would be subject to 'Don't ask, don't tell'.

This kind of failure to understand how bad his changing his mind is, tells us a ton about how clueless he is.

I don't know which is more stupid -- Lindsay Graham, or the senile old fart he replaced, "Foghorn Leghorn".
