LPAC has sunk to a new low. On Tuesday the Ramada Inn on Zorn Ave. in Louisville, KY hosted the recruiting team from the United States Military Academy for a seminar for prospective West Point Cadets. On their website, LPAC gave few details about their plans simply calling it a "Counter-Recruitment Event". Well what's an LPAC event without the steely eyed Patriots of the Louisville Chapter of Protest Warrior and a few FReepers to keep 'em honest...if that's possible?
FReepers in attendance: Myself, SheWolf and Burian.
Since I've seen what some Lefties have done to crash Military Recruiting efforts on college campuses we were unsure what LPAC was planning to do. Simply protest outside or try to disrupt the seminar inside the hotel. Not wanting the latter to occur I went to the Ramada after work on Monday and alerted them to the protestors coming the next day. I was assured they would have extra security and no one would be allowed in. The Sales Director was very nice and she understood we'd be off the property holding a "Support Our Troops" rally and counter the Leftists. She told me that her Dad had gone to West Point and she thanked me for the heads up.
When we arrived on Tuesday we occupied a big grassy median and set up the boombox and unfurled all our new Armed Service flags (Thanks, SheWolf!) and our standard assortment of PW signs. In went my new CD I burned with some great Patriotic music (military bands, Charlie Daniels, Toby Keith, and Darryl Worley. Thanks iTunes!) and we commenced OPERATION: GOLDEN KNIGHTS against the lone LPAC protestor. She was soon joined by six more of them...but we soon got our own backup from an unexpected source.
The Ramada contracts with the local MEPS Station to house new recruits who ship out the following day for boot camp. Several of those fine young men came out and joined our FReep and we all had a BLAST! We each thanked them for their service and I think they enjoyed themselves. The media showed up and I got a lot of camera time as you'll see in my links below.
Once agian our thanks to the young men who were heading off to defend this Republic and our Freedom who joined us. You are who we do this for and we salute you all. May the Lord bless and keep you safe on the journey ahead of you.
SheWolf's blog ConservaChick has a more detailed report and some GREAT PICS! Do her a favor and send some web hits to her, will ya?
PING!!
Does my heart proud! God Bless All Of You!
Way to Go!! "Military Recruits Undeterred By Protestors".
Public humiliation for the leftists.
Nice work, bump.
PING! You gotta share this one with your troops. Good luck!
Thanks for the link and Thank You for your support.

I gotta hook my bro up with you. FReeper kjfine. He doesn't have a lot of time online these days. Iraq war vet. In any case, next time I visit him I'd love to drag him out to meet you all. And add Old Sarge to that mix too.
Is that a "rocket hat"??
What a great Freep! I am suitably envious....I can't wait to get on video news!!!
Thank God you were there. That guy who said " we shouldn't be over there taking care of someone else's problems" is typical of the liberals. "Osama, we're sorry we are so evil. Please don't hurt us again." Maybe we should just wait until they force us to die or be Muslims.
Thanks for writing up such a great account, B1G. It was such a blast being there on Monday! I hope LPAC decides to do the recruitment protests more often. Those will be ours to win every time!
On behalf of both PW and the Louisville FReepers, thanks for the lift-off, alpha!
Super report and FReep!
I tried to ping Burian also with kudos, but FR thinks that there is nobody with that name. Maybe, there was a typo in the name in the report.
At any rate, thanks to all FReepers and other patriots who peacefully counter-protested the leftists.
I plan on getting excited as soon as I find out what a LPAC is.
I misspelled it. It's Burrian with 2 r's. They always hold an evening peace vigil on the 1st Sunday of each month in the Lefty area of Louisville and we're going to build our own MOAB just for that one. The slogan on yours is fantastic and I believe it will seriously annoy the crap out of them.
Thanks for your activism and your report. Great job!
Thanks to you also.
tgslTakoma, the designer, builder, and creator of the MOAB (Mother-of-All-Banners), has made at least three MOABs.
All of her slogans are great. Which one are you thinking of using? Probably the "God Bless Our Troops . . . "?
