Don't count Cox out of this. I think he has an outside chance.

ALMOST as good a matchup as Rudy, IMO. Hope he's serious.

I don't even understand why Hillary should run for Senate in 2006. As soon as her 2nd term starts, she'll have to start campaigning for 2008. Why not just bow out so she can concentrate her full efforts on the presidential run?

Could be an interesting race.

(There's a rumor going around that Hillary! hates Cox.)

I'm all for this. He might just know a lot on Hillary...stuff we never dreamed of. Do I sound terrible??

One of the first things I learned about Hillary and Watergate was that what she proposed to bring him down was both illegal and unconstitutional. The more I found out about her, the more I got to believe "she will do anything" for what she wants and rid (or blackmail) anyone who might stand in her way. I do believe she is a dangerous woman.

Although Cox may not win, Nixon will come up again and again in the campaign.

This might be a chance to set the story straight (including Hillary's role in the taking down of a President who did much less than her husband). Cool!

If Cox at any point looks like a serious challenge to Ms Clinton watch the Democrats and their surrogates in the MSM to tar Cox with the Nixon brush. By the time they are finished, the majority of the New York voters will think that Cox was one of the burglars. Heck, they will think he hired G. Gordon Liddy and tired to kill John Dean. As an outsider, it will be fun to watch.

Hey. Cox wouldn't be bad. The New York Republican Party is in such disarray that it doesn't seem to know it's ass from its elbow. We're resigned to settle with a Bloomberg for mayor because he's got the money to win and he shines compared to what the Democrats have to offer. There are a lot of great young minds in the Republican in NY.......why aren't these people being groomed? It seems like Joe Bruno just keeps on dancing the six hand reel with the likes of Elliot Spitzer and Sheldon Silver and it continues to be the same ol' same ol'
