What large companies advertise in Newsweek? I think the most effective way to make our opinions of their slanted reporting widely known and to make the feel some pain for being so Anti-American would be to contact those advertisers that enable them by providing them with advertising revenue.
A complaint campaign is in order, and those that don't drop their support need to feel the heat of a boycott. I firmly believe that voting with your wallet is one of the most effective ways of dealing with these people and companies.
In order to find out, somebody might actually have to buy a copy of that rag. Go to the library and get the last month's magazines and mark down all the advertisers, especially the full page or multi-page ads or multiple issues.
Their circulation is way down regardless. Best thing to do is let the loonie liberals who buy it part with their money on its bogus content until it tanks on its own : )))
State Farm, Allstate and FEMA (I saw on another thread).
FEMA is US Govt--which is TAXPAYER $
Let's get the FEMA public contacts/advertising agency info onto this thread and FREEP/BEAT THEM DOWN until they pull OUR money out of this rag.
Tidy bowl? Charmin? 2000 Flushes?
If they're not big advertisers, they're missing a HUGH opportunity here.
FEMA is definitely one that needs to stop ASAP. There's no way a government agency should be sponsoring traitorous activity.
newsweek is woned by the washington post
quickest way to find out is to either check out your local retailer/grocery/drug store who sells "Newsweak" or your local library...
of course your doctor/dentist has a few year old ones in his waiting room. LOL
The alleged source used by NEWSWEAK may not really exist. The idea for there being one may have been fabricated by NEWSWEAK.
Possibly?????

Stockholders? Any rights? NYT, CBC, ABC now newsweak. Is NBC next? Does NBC have the right to destroy value and $$$ of shareholders of GE? Maybe lawsuits are in order?
Sorry about my repeat, sometimes my finger is faster than my brain.
Not "possibly", but "probably". If he (the source) existed, the weasel Isikoff would have thrown him to the wolves already.
I believe the story was made up from the whole cloth, and that Isikoff deserves the Jason Blair Award for Infamy in Journalism.
Similar discussion here about mag's advertisers. What best to do next?

Oh, I think it is mandatory to give them a metaphoric bullet to the brain...leftist publications tend to hang on like dracula, sucking the culture dry.
"Newsweak" actually needs a metaphoric stake to the heart.
