I just read a post on conservative blog that stated few freepers were veterans (implication was that we were chicken hawks). Having conversed with many of you and met a few, I do not believe that is the case. But it did get me wondering, who among us is active or prior service veterans? Awright you freeper vets SOUND OFF!

United States Air Force, 25 years, retired as a Colonel. But I don't hold it against anybody if they did not serve yet still hold strong opinions that America should not be afraid to fight. Not everybody can endure service life with its many inconveniences, relatively low pay, constant movement, difficult family life, and of course the expectation that if somebody gives a war one is expected to show up and get shot at.

Generally, only liberals are petty, vain, and purile enough to make accusations that can't possibly be verified. It gives their petulant little hearts the freedom to hate what is 'good' without ever having to admit to themselves 'good' is what they hate.
Besides... I hear they're all pediphiles over there ;o>

LOL - so many posts so fast.
U.S. Army: '85 - '96 (Active)
U.S. Army: '96 - '05 (Inactive Reserve)
U.S. Army: '05 - '17 (Retired Reserve collecting VSI)
The Army's Voluntary Seperation Incentive obligation to me ends in 2017. Thank Bill Clinton for paying us to leave the military. I am collecting for 21 years while being entirely successful in my civilian life. He never should have made an offer the best and brightest would jump at.

Former 13B Army National Guard 1996 to 2002.
Alot of trolls have come here saying moronic crap like "enlist, freepies" and similar crap.
Had one or two show up recently.
Most FReepers either have served, currently serve, are enlisting to serve, or have recently retired from service, or have family that serve.
Those who say very few of us have served are being disingenuous at best, willfully ignorant and propagandistically misleading.
