A Muslim can never think of even touching the Holy Qur'an if not clean; whereas to hear such a heinous crime committed by the perpetrators at Gunatanamo Bay. An ordinary Christian or Jew cannot commit this act.
Only one example (1) narrated by a prisoner released from Guantanamo Bay should be enough to paint the true picture of the profanities used by the interrogators. Wisam Abd al-Rahman Ahmad said he was captured in Iran, transferred to a Kandahar detention facility in Afghanistan, and finally imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay.
Claiming he was beaten and routinely insulted with profanities while in Afghanistan, Ahmad said that US soldiers tried to "break" him using psychological warfare. "They stripped me naked with a bag over my head. One of the soldiers turned me around, removed the bag and I saw a female soldier looking at me," he said. "They knew that it is an insult to our religion to appear thus before women," he said.
Dr. Condoleezza Rice condemned this cowardly act by the interrogators at Guantanamo Bay to break the impasse and resolve of the Muslim brothers, illegally detained in these neo-Nazi style concentration camps.
Disrespect for the holy Qur'an is not now, nor has it ever been, nor will it ever be, tolerated by the United States Condoleezza Rice said.
One of the ways to avoid problems with prisoners is to take no prisoners.
It is perfectly fine for a Muslim (Sunni) to bomb a mosque (Shiite) containing assorted live Muslims (Sunni), but it is wrong for an American to show disrespect for the Koran (murder manual) according to one Muslim (terrorist) and as reported (falsely) by two American reporters (liars).
Did I get that right?
I suggest that in reading any garbage from Al Jazeera the words "rabid dog" should be substituted for "Muslim cleric" in order to understand the article in question.

Of course. You see, if a Muslim does it it's good; if anyone else does it it's bad. That's the moral double standard involved in the moral intimidation racket.
As long if it is a "Say one thing , do another" policy, I can deal with it. I just grow weary of kissing islamic arse, while in islamic lands, we are slaughtered. (On a daily basis)

No testimony or statement from a terrorist Muslim should be believed. Ever.
To the editing and writing staff of Newsweek,
Congratulations on your publication in Periscope concerning Korans being flushed down toilets by U.S. interrogators and your subsequent apology, stating that this story may have not been supported by fact. Congratulations again, for the deaths and rioting resulting from your due diligence and journalistic integrity in reporting this story. Congratulations for providing the Moslem world with more fodder, which will be used to recruit more jihadists to kill the infidels. Congratulations for any future deaths of Americans and others in the world that will result from your loose-lipped arrows of truth. Congratulations on your apology, which comes after arrow has left bow and the damage that results cannot be undone. Thank you so much for being sorry. You, of all people should know that words are a powerful weapon, and once they have been unleashed, they cannot be called back no matter how sorry you claim to be. Aside from the deaths and riots your journalistic work has already accomplished, congratulations also for this:
FAIZABAD, Afghanistan (Reuters) -- A group of Afghan Muslim clerics have threatened to call for a holy war against the United States in three days unless it hands over military interrogators reported to have desecrated the Quran.
The warning on Sunday came after 16 Afghans were killed and more than 100 hurt last week in the worst anti-U.S. protests across the country since U.S. forces invaded in 2001 to oust the Taliban for sheltering Osama bin Laden and his al Qaeda network.
The clerics in the northeastern province of Badakhshan said they wanted U.S. President George W. Bush to handle the matter honestly "and hand the culprits over to an Islamic country for punishment."
"If that does not happen within three days, we will launch a jihad against America," said a statement issued by about 300 clerics, referring to Muslim holy war, after meeting in the main mosque in the provincial capital, Faizabad.
Its fun to play God. Dont you agree?

O Bin is short on toilet tissue and uses the holy quran for arse wipe on a daily basis.
Me thinks a urinal target may soon be in the offing.
She is welcome to try and stop me from doing what I want and when I want to do it to the Qur'an. Last time I checked this was America not some Dictatorship, Condi. Although from what she said, she might wish it was.
She called it the HOLY Koran?!?!?
I have a feeling this article is Moslem wishful thinking.
"However, nothing compared to the agony of seeing the Qur'an defiled, Ahmad told Aljazeera TV."
That is unfortunate. If the worst prisoners at Gitmo have to deal with, assuming this is true, is seeing a book defiled then our interrogation techniques are pathetically weak.
Personally, I think defiling the Quran is a good idea and if it not being used as an interrogation device - it should be.
Actually, I've got a Quran right here at home I keep around for research purposes. I think I might do my part for the war effort and use its pages to line my nephews Guinea Pig cage.

Anybody know what the smallest lot of custom printed toilet paper is?
The host site is based in Florida. I wonder why?
I've got a cheap paper back version. It really is a soft "swipe"...
I use the koran for toilet paper.
I will insist the selected verses of the Qur'an be printed on the softest two ply rolls. Perhaps if it takes off I'll have custom quilting in the shape of the dome of the rock, but would expect that to be on a later, larger lot.
Think I'll sell much in Saudi?
