High B/W video here: http://www.kvoa.com/global/video/WorldNowASX.asp?playerType=native&ClipID1=422977&h1=McCain%20immigration%20bill%20to%20be%20challenged&vt1=v&at1=Agriculture&d1=75200&LaunchPageAdTag=News&activePane=info&playerVersion=6 Estimates place more than 10 million illegal immigrants inside American lines.
Senator John McCain wants to match many of them with the work they seek.
"Our proposal is earmarked for jobs that Americans won't do, and there are clearly jobs that Americans will not do," says McCain.
McCain's new immigration reform bill would allow qualifying illegal immigrants to receive worker-visas after they pay a $2,000 fine.
Several years later, the immigrants and their families could become U.S. citizens.
"This has widespread support, it has broad bi-partisan support," the Senator says.
But some politicians say just the idea granting citizenship to people who unlawfully entered the country, is wrong.
"What does it tell the rest of the world? What does it tell the people who are trying to come here legally," asks former Arizona State Senator Randy Graf.
President Bush has publicly favored immigration measures similar to those McCain is proposing, but some lawmakers, like Colorado's Tom Tancredo, say the bill doesn't do enough to seal off the border, and they say the President will never see the bill, unless that becomes priority one.
Graf is mounting a second challenge to U.S. Rep. Jim Kolbe, R-Tucson. Kolbe is a top backer of guest worker programs and is liberal on immigration issues while Graf, a former state legislator, is conservative and was a top advocate of Prop. 200.
After CFR that McCain pushed on the United States citizens enabling money from sources like George Soros and other foreign entities and anti-American private organizations to further erode the abused campaign laws in this country, and one that President Bush should have vetoed, I wouldnt trust anything John McCain puts his short sighted hand to. All Americans need to carefully dissect a McCain bill, whatever that puffed up senator does is not in Americas best interest we have seen what he can and does do and it isnt a pretty picture. CFR should be rescinded, made null and void never forget who wrote it and why.
I voted for Bush, but would support his impeachment for his lack of effort on behalf of American workers. The leaky border is the result of treason....period.
How did that picture come about?
I think the picture is from 2000, when McCainiac was asked a question he didn't like. It's a real picture, unretouched.
But, the picture is classic.
Amnesty will just touch off another big round of illegal immigration from all countries.
All you have to do is travel to CHina, India or Mexico to see why there are millions of people who will lie, cheat, steal and take enormous risks to come to the US.
We need to weed out the Rhino's..hunt them down and sell their horns to the Chinese.

I think of this guy:
Very well put. You hit the nail on the head!
We have all seen the pictures of the destruction of the Arizona desert caused by the constant invasion of illegal aliens. He hasn't said ONE WORD or done ONE THING to change it, and now he comes up with a harebrained idea to reward the invaders even further.
We don't need MORE laws, we want the existing ones to be enforced. Is anyone in Washington listening??
I heard a lot of that too when I was campaigning for Randy. I don't understand it either - I've always been able to see through Kolbe's insincere speeches.
Graf is the only reason I'm voting next time. I was about to take the next election off until I heard he was running again against that homo, Kolbe.
He is rather amazing to watch. He's smirks all the time, like it's all a big joke to him.
He's got northside Tucson calibrated, I'll give him that. He smirks out some platitudes, issues a press release or two, and walks away with the votes of all those retirees up in the foothills. Wonder if they ever see him or actually read what he says and does.
It was the Keating Five. McCain and DeConcini, both from Arizona, were up to their elbows in it. McCain was the only Republican involved and escaped press scrutiny in a way few Republicans ever do. Turned out it was because the press really knew he was a commie bozo like them.
Did you see his "Howdy neighbor" brochures last time? I almost had a heart attack I laughed so hard. The guy is a liberal, a homosexual, and a beloved Republican to the press because he sells out his party and his people continually. Yet he gets re-elected in this silk stocking district. It might as well be Manhattan here it's so cotton picking liberal.
Except the time he got off my parents' flight - he was in First Class, of course. He looked like a perv with his trench coat and running shoes! His goons were scary last year at the Manning House and other places they gathered. Randy's people looked down-to-earth and not reprogrammed-brainwashed.
Don't forget that aliens legal and illegal are also required to register for selective service, and pay income tax. Another pair of rather serious felonies they commit.
Well at least not registering for the draft was a serious problem when I was a teenager. Maybe not now...
Note also that any amnesty granted is not just an amnesty for the "entry without inspection" crime, but for a laundry list of associated crimes in your list and mine.
When do Bush, McCain and Kennedy plan on granting mass amnesties to us citizens for all of our horrid transgressions? Why does their sympathy only extend to foreigners here illegally?
I think the phrase is that they are "xenophilic and ethnophobic".
Protect our borders and coastlines from all foreign invaders!
