LOL! Didn't he release those brochures when he was getting desperate because Randy was so well-liked? From the numbers I have, the RINO had $833,000 to Randy's $80,308.

Did you see his "Howdy neighbor" brochures last time?

Yeah. Picked that up at my father's house, almost lost lunch right there.

You're right. The only reason the SOB gets a pass from the Citizen and the Star is precisely because he's their kind of "Republican" - meaning that he isn't one. He's merely cross-dressing, which for him is probably second nature.

Yeah, I *think* my father should get some sort of repatriation for having to live in concentration camps and displaced persons camps during/after WWII, while fleeing Stalin's death houses and ending up in Hitler's. This is all because my father's family was waiting to get into the U.S. legally. Mind you, they had to learn English and the Constitution, have a sponsor and jobs, all that good stuff.

Your father was in the DP camps? Run by UNRRA?

My grandfather was the head of those camps in Northern Germany after the war. He was the Police Chief of Tucson during the war, they recruited him right after.

He ended up divorcing my grandmother and marrying an Estonian he met in the camps. Then he became a DP from Arizona, hotly pursued by Grand-Ma-Ma's attorneys!

BTW, he had been a Vice-Consul to Czechoslovakia prior to the war. One of his main jobs was issuing visas to would be immigrants. He was rather hard line about that: all the requirements you spoke of had to met, or...no can go.

He lived in L.A. until he died. I remember him being really P.O.'d about the illegals in L.A. in the 1970s. Back when a lot of people were indifferent.

Not him. He knew the difference between illegal aliens and immigrants. And if he had still been police chief, he would have deported their butts right then.

I'm really going to enjoy this battle against Kolbe. Randy is playing hard ball this time.

I'm beginning to think that the only way we will be able to keep the folks running the Republican party from driving it over the cliff is to defeat a number of their open border buddies in the 06 primaries, RINO's like Kolbe and Cannon. Nothing focuses the minds of politicians like losing.

Wow! Yes, my dad was in a DP camp in Germany - I should ask him where! He has never liked to talk at all about the war so it's like pulling teeth. He mentions someone he knew from those camps every now and again. They all thought they'd be gone from Lithuania only for a couple of years, but then socialist sob FDR sold them down the river. I have relatives that ended up in Canada, Australia, South America - I'm grateful my parents were eventually admitted to the U.S.

My mom's family escaped to Austria which had already surrendered to Hitler, and they eventually came over here. Sounds like you know about the Baltic people - all who came over were highly educated: doctors, lawyers, architects, engineers, nurses. My grandmother was the first female lawyer in Lithuania...for example.

So, it infuriates me how the Red Star and most media calls illegals "immigrants". The illegal aliens, and I don't care where they are from, are no immigrants.

How wonderful that this lying sack of manure Senator Teddy Kenndey, is back with a new Immigration bill. Check out the whoppers ole Ted laid on the Senate back in 1965 when he was pushing his Immigration and Nationality Act. And I quote: "What the bill will not do: First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually." (WRONG!) "Under the proposed bill, the present level of immigration remains substantially the same." (WRONG!) "Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will not be upset." (WRONG!) "Contrary to the charges in some quarters, S.500 will not inundate Ammerica with immigrants from any one country or area." (WRONG!) ....Ole Senator Ted Kennedy was wrong about EVERYTHING! Now, with a straight face, he's back with a new immigration bill, a new solution to the problem HE helped create in the first place. And has even ONE of our so-called journalists called Ted on his past lies?

The other thing you probably know is that after WWII, women and children came first. My grandfathers followed, as long as two years later.

My parents have worked here since the 1950s and when they retire will get less than or about the same from social security as people just getting off the proverbial boat. Recent arrivals, over whatever age (65?), can immediately go on SSI, never having worked here a day in their lives. It infuriates my mom; she sees them standing in line at the bank with their big checks. These people don't even speak English.

And people try to say Yalta wasn't a goddamn sellout.

My grandfather was good friends with Jan and Tomas Masaryk. I was raised with one certainty: Jan was pushed from the window. And the guy responsible wasn't Uncle Joe. It was Franklin, the jerk who left them high and dry at the mercy of the butcher.

!!!!! I don't know about this, yikes. Is this similar to the teddy-drunkard-murderer-kenn story?

Oh no. Thank you for the information about Jan Masaryk.
We've always detested FDR. I can't take hearing what a big "hero" he is about social security. That is mainly what the Red Star editors and readers think. He and JFK are their idols. GAG.
