The link (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=44185) is to an article about interesting resolution that has been submitted for consideration at the next the Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting. The resolution encourages every SBC church to investigate whether the school district in which it is located has either a homosexual club or any curriculum or program that attempts to influence children to accept homosexual behavior as a legitimate lifestyle. If the school district has any of these, the resolution urges churches to inform parents of this fact and encourage them to remove their children from the districts schools immediately.

I agree 100%. I don't have children but I can tell you that the school in my area does not have anything of the sort going on and never will. I pray that we are one day able to take back our schools.
Thanks for posting this.

I'm glad people are finally waking up to this, but they really should change the headline of the article....
To: LIConFem
The words 'probe' and 'homosexuality' should never be placed adjacent to one another in a serious news story.

so is this the SBC statement of the year that will PO the liberals? Seems every summer the convention says something that makes the left and the MSM media foam at the mouth. God bless them! This is a very good idea; it is outrageous how the gay agenda is being forced on children in school at earlier and earlier ages.

Reminds of the time Roy D. Mercer was giving a Ford salesman the business for asking Sharn Jean is he could show her his Probe. Roy said, "You can't talk to my wife like that. Hell, I can't talk to her like that!"
Funny, funny man. (Some of his stuff is on line.)

I believe that the words "probe" and "homosexuality" should not be used in the same sentence.

I find it unconscionable when grade/junior/high schools had homosexual organizations on campus WHEN SAME SEX SODOMY WAS ILLEGAL.
How many schools permit drug legalization organizations to be founded?
Do schools have any authority over the organizations that students form? Or are only religious meetings prohibited?
Note, I am not saying that people who want to push for changing laws shouldn't be able to gather. I question whether public schools should be endorsing such gatherings.

The teachers and administrators that promote the homosexual agenda to children should be charged with child abuse. That would stop this horror in its tracks.

The homosexual agenda is merely the battering ram to forcing the sex positive agenda into institutions/society.
Condoms are distributed and demonstrated in schools now. Makes "no" into a question of "when". Age of consent laws are merely a formality these days. Statutory rape is no longer prosecuted even when both participants are under the AOC or even when the adult is "near" the age of the victim. Can minors buy "a little beer" if they are near 21? Can minors buy "a little tobacco" if they are near 18? Is the sentence any lighter if the clerk sells to some "near" the age to buy?
The sex positive agenda pushes for sexually active people at all ages. There is no concept of "age appropriate activity" to them. The ALA (American Library Association) holds to this position as well and defends their policy of permitting anyone access to any materials in the library (regardless of whether a store is prohibited from selling the same sexually explicit materials to minors).
You can read about the sex positive agenda and the government institutions that support it at the "dead" but still existent website
http://www.allaboutsex.org/
The nature of debate on sex is controlled by the left. The homosexual agenda helps them to force through all sorts of changes.
When we heard about the SC decision on same sex sodomy, how many times did you hear "consenting adults should be able to do what they want in private"? This is not about adults. There were states that had a different AOC for heterosexual and homosexual activity. Those differences are gone with the SC ruling. The age of consent for homosexual activity is below 18 in most every state now. Does that sound like "consenting adults" to you? It is minors, folks.
Understand that language can be used to make something sound acceptable when the real agenda is shielded from the masses.

God helps them who help themselves. Taking our schools back means work by you and me. We need to go to school meetings and establish ouselves as a voice to be heard. When we are ignored by the media, we need to spread the word personally to recruit people who will spend the time and energy to change the direction the schools are taking.

Dear 13-Year-Old Friend Has Unsafe Sex,
Were glad to hear youre concerned about your ex-friend, but unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to "make her stop" this behavior. We agree that she is very young to be having sex, and that unprotected sex can be very harmful to herself and her partners, but this is her choice, even if you feel its a bad one. Were not sure what you mean by being her "ex-friend," but if you two are still on speaking terms, what you can do is let her know that you are concerned about her. You can suggest that she at least try to practice safer sex and let her know you are there for her if she needs to talk. If you continue to be concerned, you can talk to a counselor or teacher at your school. But ultimately, you are not responsible for changing her behavior.
As for your questions about masturbation and sex outside marriage, there are many religions (including Christianity) that believe these things are sinful and are are laws (or beliefs) of the church (or religion). For more information on what Christians think about masturbation and premarital sex, you might try asking your priest or a family member if you feel comfortable doing so. Regardless, for what its worth, TeenHealthFX believes that expressing your sexuality, both with yourself and with partners, is a natural, healthy, beautiful part of life. Religion can play an important role in what we think about these issues, but ultimately, you will come to form your own set of beliefs about how sex fits into your life.
And:

Dear Having To Wait 3 Years,
There is nothing wrong with your girlfriends hormones; she has made a personal choice. She sounds like a special person who has thought carefully about sex, and made a decision about what is best for her. Many young people feel pressured to have sex because they believe everybody else is "doing it". Everyone is different and each person has to decide what is right for him or her.
Whether you want to wait 3 years for this girl is a decision you have to make for yourself. Realize that it is possible to be physically intimate in a close, loving relationship with your girlfriend without having intercourse, like hugging and kissing. Remember, if you really do like her it wouldnt be fair to pressure her into something she is not comfortable doing.
TeenHealthFX is pleased to see that you recognize sex is a major responsibility. While you are anxious to have sex, you want to have it "safely". This shows you are taking the subject seriously. Way to go!
Translated, "You may want to leave her if she won't put out, or maybe you could make her believe that you are 'serious' about sex."
"Encourage sexual activity". Read some Sex Positive agenda materials and you will see them say that abstinence is unhealthy because it is suppressing sexual desires. Same thing they spout about homosexual urges. What about rape? What about adultery? We have free will to do right and wrong.

I agree and it should have happened long ago over other things their children were being taught in public school.
This is coming from a person who failed to homeschool her children.
