NEW YORK -- Fox News Channel will not renew a contract with weekend host Rita Cosby, as the two sides couldn't come to an agreement on an extension, the network said.
Cosby hosted "The Big Story Weekend Edition With Rita Cosby" at 9 p.m. Saturday. On Sunday at 6 p.m. she hosted "Fox News Live With Rita Cosby."
Cosby will leave the network immediately. No replacement host has been appointed, nor has a decision been made on the future of the shows, Fox News said.

Someone help me -- I've forgotten all the news babes who work at Fox. Pics would likely jog my memory. ;)
I think they pay Cosby in cheeseburgers.

I would much rather watch Kiran Chetry or Juliet Huddy read the phone book than have to listen to more of that non-news news she blabbed on about.

You've got that right. I could not stand the way she reported. Between gulping breaths, and saying "my sources told me" drove me nuts.
She always has a sparkle in her eye. She's a good reporter, it's just that weird voice. I hate to say things like that, but unfortunately, in her line of work it is a detriment.

She is definitely one of the weaker "talking heads" on Fox. If this was a power play on her part, I think she'll be sadly surprised at the lack of a following she has. Someone asked what does Cosby, Greta, and Hannity make? Don't even attempt to lump Hannity in there. Hannity has become his own little industry and is the second most influential guy on the network after Bill-O.

Has Bill Gertz on often also many of the military .
She also wasn't buying little miss run away in GA.
And has told about her background while others thought

I liked her, but it was ruined for me when someone on here said she looked like "Miss Polly Purebred" from Underdog. AND SHE DID! Never looked at her the same after that!
thats funny. My husband says she is like Greta, just sensationalism. They talk to these screw-loose lawyers who give their opinions on what WILL happen.
It can't be soon enough for me - I think she's a dingbat. Maybe she can take Greta with her.
