Unfortunately, I had business all day and couldn't make it with other FReepers to see the Jay Leno show taping with Ann Coulter. Others can report on that part.
I did, however, join the group for dinner at the Acapulco Restaurant in Burbank. About a dozen Marines and a Navy medic joined us as our guests for dinner. There were about 40-45 people there.

She's got that late 60's-early 70's granola look that used to make me ... um.. well... er...
forget I said anything...
No matter how you may grill vegetables or wrap them in tortillas, they still ain't fajitas! ;-)

King 5 is Washington so you are going to be one state North of us.
I noticed in the audiance scan at the beggining of the show quite of few Men in Uniform were they part of your guys luncheon?
Hopefully where you are land hunting it is very rural.
We did that 17yrs ago and have nevre regretted living out here on the Central Oregon Coast big retirement community but the rest of the world seems to have found us the last few years.
We live about 8 min. from Newport so the transeints and bad guys who have come here don't phase us and our PD is very good at keeping tabs on the trouble makers.

I saw her! I think she did great! I wish I had half her charisma!
My only complaint (and I have this complaint often with guests on shows like this) is that she didn't keep her hair back from the side of her face that was exposed to the camera...
See how, in the picture where she's walking out, her hair is back and tucked behind her ear and you can see her features and expression clearly? Then, in the pictures where she's sitting down, although the angle is good in THOSE pictures, when the angle came from the audience's perspective, her face was obscured by her hair.
I kept thinking "Move your hair, Ann!"
Maybe it's because I'm hard of hearing and I tell a lot about what someone is saying by their facial expression...but I also remember when I took drama in high school...you keep your body and face visible to the audience.
FYI: Today is international eat what you want day.
