Holy crow...
ANy estimates on what it costs to live in Belize? I wanna bail on this country ASAP.
Where?
OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!
Congress has lowered taxes but they're just spending and spending and spending. They're out of control.
Well, can't deny that the impending massive loss of the republicans in 06 is well deserved.
they are all mad.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
CUT SPENDING, you drunken sailors!!
Why, /shakes head, why....
Thank God Bush gave American old people a NEW entitlement!
Add several trillion more over the next few years!
To hell with the people who have to pay it!
Someone remind me why I voted GOP?
Could the Dems be any worse?
I'm at least happy to see that mathematical-ineptitude of our GOP controlled government does not reflect on their conservative constituents (or it does not appear so at all from the posts so far).
So, the big question on my mind is, *we're* the ones who put these guys in power, *we're* the ones who were out campaiging and writing letters and blogging and pulling the weight in these last elections, *we're* in unanimous consensus that the government needs to reign in spending... and yet, we're being completely ignored?
I guess the GOP has decided that if they put a good enough show on to convince us that they're better than the Dems then they can screw us over on everything else.
12 zeros! they are out of control!
when will people wake up? when do we start dumping tea?!
The irony is that Hillary and the new centrists of the Dem party will harp on this as an issue in '08. And they, very likely, will be successful in converting it into a Dem win in '08.
If you're going to spend like Canada, you have to tax like Canada. Don't be like Canada.
On the other hand Canada is currently paying off its debt which is about 1/2 per capita what the US debt is.

We're f****d.
If you started a business at the time Christ was living, and continuously lost money at the rate of $1,000,000 (one million) dollars per day, you would be $1,000,000,000,000 (one trillion) dollars in the hole, seven hundred years from now.
