you must have lurked on the star wars thread the other day. Aren't those goofy looking guys from an episode of The Twilight Zone or outer limits?

looks to me like you need to put the full URL in your IMG SRC statements...what's coming through on the other end doesn't include your host name, just the directory and image file name.

Try this when posting images:

< img src ="http://www.markwahlbergfan.com/photo/photo85big.jpg" >

remove the spaces before and after the "<" and ">", though.

I think SISU kid is getting lonely.

I'm born to be a loner, who's never alone.....

I'm the scorned lover, who you've never known.....

(Lyrics from one of my many songs)....

The pic is from the 1964 movie: "The Time Travelers"

I saw it in the theater as a kid and it was scary!

It's kind of schlocky now but I just ordered it on DVD from these guys

I wonder if they've got any movies that were also used in Mystery Science Theatre 3000. I'll have to check them out.

OK, It looks like someone needs a primer in HTML.

HTML stands for Hope This M*#$)$F(@%*%^ Links (or something like that). You know that geeks like to turn their acronyms into words they can pronounce, like SQL is pronounced see-quill? Well, the proper way to pronounce HTML is like this:

aitch-tee-em-ell

Say it like that to sound like a geek.

In HTML we use a lot of tags. Before you try to figure out how to put a tag on your monitor without poking a hole in it, HTML tags are cryptic words surrounded by less-than and greater-than signs (referred to by geeks as "angle-brackets" because they think it's too hard to say "less-than" and "greater-than") like this:

<HTML>

Note: It's not necessary to make your tags capital letters, I just did it for the fun of it.

One of the rules of HTML is that tags have to have an end tag, except when they don't. End tags are formed by putting a forward slash (the one under the question mark on your keyboard) before the same cryptic word that is in your tag so they make a pair like this:

<HTML></HTML>

See the note above about capitals. I don't want to start repeating myself.

Of course, the tags aren't much use unless you put something into them. In the case of the above example you put - you guessed it - a bunch of HTML stuff.

Some other useful HTML tags are:

<head></head>
<body></body>
<title></title>
<p>

Note: This time I decided not to use capital letters. I have explained this twice now. DON'T MAKE ME EXPLAIN IT AGAIN!

Note: The use of capitals above is generally considered to be shouting. It is different from the use of capitals in HTML.

Note: There is no end tag on that last one. Sometimes you need one, sometimes you don't. The difference is beyond this primer.

Well, there you have it. I'm not sure if this cleared up any of the problems you were having posting your pictures, but the notes are taking up too much of my time so I've decided to suddenly stop the primer.

Shalom.

remove the spaces before and after the "<" and ">", though.

If you use &lt; and &gt; you can get the angle brackets without having to insert spaces.

Try it. It comes out like <>

Shalom.
