12:35 April 28, 2001 child was murdered known as Precious Doe.
Charged with 2 counts 1 felony murder and child endangerment. Michelle Johnson currently arrested in Oklahoma.
Informant called in the lead to the arrest.
Another case where the judge she be allowed to order the bailiff to take them out back and shoot them.
The police declared it "solved". Does this mean they know who murdered her and why?
Justice for this baby? Finally. I hope.
I've seen this case many times on Court TV and A&E crime investigation programs. Very sad. Thank God they may have found the monsters who did this to that poor little girl.

Channel 9 reported that the stepfather had kicked Erica in the head and she had become unresponsive. She then laid in the house for 2 days, until she died. Then he got rid of the body and severed the head (I guess to prevent identification). The news reports that they didn't seek medical aid for Erica because both the mother and the stepfather had outstanding warrants.
Also, the mother had sent 3 of her kids to live with their grandmother in Chicago, so the folks in Oklahoma thought Erica was in Chicago, while the folks in Chicago thought Erica was in Oklahoma.
Words fail me...

I had been following this case, but had seen nothing for awhile. Thanks for posting a follow-up. Its good to see some kind of closure. Hope the law does the right thing when it comes to those who murdered her.
Oh, dear, it has to make you wonder about human beings. Harrowing account, heartless, adults...cruel beyond belief. But glad this little child has a name now. God has known who she was, she's been cradled in His arms.

The abominable killing of this child and the others murdered in like/similar manner are assuaged in my mind and heart only in knowing that she and the other children are in Heaven.
Yes, indeed. And sloppy newswriting too. Introduce who "the Johnsons" are before telling us the tipster is related to the Johnsons.
What's saddest to me is that by tonight all of the "talking heads" will be offering explanations about these people being "depressed" or "overwhelmed" or they're victims of poverty or some other nonsense, and the left will try to convince all of us that the murderers are the one's that people should have sympathy for.
How can anyone be so evil as these two?
(And it must really, really suck to be one of the suspects now. Kid-killers are at the very bottom of the prison hierarchy, and often don't survive their incarcerations. I'm no fan of vigilantism, but I wouldn't shed too many tears if these knuckle-draggers had "unfortunate fatal accidents" while in custody.)
The Erica/Precious story reminds me of the most famous case of this kind -- The Boy in the Box, who will probably never be identified at this late date.
