Republicans win right to challenge Wash. state election: Republicans have won a victory in their challenge to the election of Governor Gregoire. The judge says Republicans will be allowed to use "proportional analysis" to prove their case that illegal votes swayed the election.

My point is, from a "PR" stand point, Republicans can loose some face for seeming to drag out the gubernatorial election. While I'm not a big believer in "polls" and the like, popular opinion is often what drives elections, and this could potentially case Republicans to fall out of favor with potential voters and cause elections that may have gone Republican to "go Democrat". I was just trying to say that while I think it's great that voter fraud is being investigated, it could turn out to be a bad move. BUT I in no way meant to implicate, imply, allege, or otherwise allude to any Republican voter fraud and apologize if such was the tone.*****************
You may be right. I guess only time will tell. It is my opinion, however, that this is the right move to make. Submitting to this kind of fraud by the Democrats is a mistake. I believe it encourages more of the same bad behaviour, gives our opponent a stronger base and demoralizes some in our Party.
The Democrats choose to believe, or at least claim to believe and continue to promote, the idea that voter fraud was a strategy used by the Republican Party. I believe we have no choice now but to prove them wrong.

Who ever thought a court would break our way? With the state of the courts these days, isn't this pretty much grounds for an automatic reversal on appeal?

All Dino has to run on is an immediate repeal of the illegal gas tax (illegal due to an initiative overwhelmingly passed by the people of this state a couple of years ago.)

This is a setup by the RATS. A JUDGE said the Republicans can challenge. You mean an "Activist liberal".
This has Dems written all over it. Nothing other than a do-over election would be the right thing to do. Anything else and it becomes a RAT talking point.

Polls in the state of WA indicate that the majority of voters do not believe that Gregoire legitimately won the election.

I am new to this forum...but from the Eastern half of Washington State. Most of us on this side of the hill (the Cascades) do not in any way, shape or form trust anything that happens on the other side of the hill.
Until King County is cleaned up, eastsiders, let alone conservatives, will never have a voice in this state. I believe that we can win on the basis of ideas later if we are not thwarted by fraud and incompetence. So it going after it could cause a short term loss, but in the long run, it will be a windelayed election gratification.
Don't give up on us.

Meanwhile, Gregoire is ramming through her pet bills before she gets de-throned!Rossi can and should nullify all acts of Non-Governor Gregoire by issuing an Excecutive Order that nullifies all past, present or future acts of any "elected" official ever found by due process of law not to have been duly elected. I am now totally confused.
We had been previously told that the Judge could not call for a revote, that he could only declare the election null and void and then there would have to be a new election.
Well, I am listening to Washington talk radio, with John Carlson and he has previous Senator Slade Gorton on. He said that one of the things the Judge said today was that he could only DECIDE BASED ON THE FACTS WHO THE WINNER WAS.
John Carlson is now saying that he thinks that Dino Rossi will then say Thank You, but he wants the people to have a new election to decide who the winner is. John Carlson says this is going to be a big head ache for the supreme court.

Yeah and the gangsta son of the government officeholder along with his criminal associates will never see any jail time. When they did it they made a big joke about it in the local party headquarters in Milwaukee, complete with dressing up like mission impossible guys with ski masks and black outfits. Very funny all around.........Then extra funny to a prosecuter who didn't want to investigate anything because it's good fun to destroy property to the tune of $60,000 as long as the victims are conservatives.
Milwaukee, and Madison are a blight. Unfortunately, a blight which carries the rest of the state with it.

Excellent! Good for Washington State! Now...let's see if we can overturn Kerry's win in Wisconsin. 12,600+ votes have been proven fraudulent in Milwaukee County alone! Kerry only won WI by 11,841 votes.
The tide is turning.

Finally! I worked on this campaign so this has been bothering me for months. Hopefully the courts bias won't hurt us (this time).
