Do you think the rudeness will continue for the President's talk? This is the most talking I remember hearing during one of these dinners. What rudeness.

Silver put Barone to shame, for he was much better informed, well-spoken, and erudite. Besides, he has both a sense of humor and white-toothed laughter.

They were not clinking their glasses in the lobby to quiet the crowd. It was the group inside the banquet that was talking all the while.
