The DC Chapter has begun its "7th Annual FReep Against Liberal Media Bias." The FReep is outside White House Correspondents Association dinner.
CSPAN Listing: “White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. President George W. Bush and comedian Cedric the Entertainer speak. 9:30PM.”
Earlier they said this dinner has grown into being the HOT ticket in Washington DC for the year. People can buy tables - 5 to 8 and invite whoever they want to come. It has become very chi chi to be there - resulting in the Hollywierd presence in droves.
Actually it will ruin it for me if this does become Oscar's east because I want to actually see the people that are supposed to be there...
I think the news channels think that being seen with the Hollywood set gives them "cred", but IMHO, it diminishes it.

I remember there's always flashy trashy celebrities who glitz up the media's tables. Who ever's hot gets the invites, with no regard it seems to real talent.

If schools went back to disciplining children the old-fahsioned way, we'd see how infrequently meds are actually needed.
by the way, FOX News Rita is struggling to get info on the air about the Duluth bride's plane landing. I heard CNN say earlier they had a reporter on the plane, so this battle will be fun to watch. Sso far, CNN isn't breaking into Larry King re-run to jump into the fray.
(It's always fun to watch Rita get all lathered up and then have technical glitches.. )

Little Jane and Johnny are all the worse for it too. Teachers were a fearsome bunch when I was in school. They commanded respect and didn't take any BS.
We all survived and we learned how to read, write and think too.
Personally these media goobers gladhanding one another would drive me to talk rudely over them.
Rude people who only want to be seen. I dare them to pull this inattention rudeness when the President speaks.
