Ron Silver, remember, gave a rip-roaring speech at the GOP Convention.
He is very dissatisified with the Dem Party. Says it is bereft of ideas. Says all they seem to be is 'against anything Bush is for'. Says they seem to have no positive direction.
He said many Americans are 9-10 or 9-11. He is of the 9-11 group and sees a whole different world than he saw pre-9-11.
I don't agree with Ron Silver's social beliefs/ideas
But at least he is an honest Dem

Silver is a better spokesman of what is 'bereft' with the Dem Party than any on the GOP side. lol.
Silver is the Hollywood equivalent to Zell Miller. Both saw the light and it wasn't shining from the 'progressive' Democrats.

Ron Silver saying he has paid by social ostracizing - but he has said he is spending more time with his family....and laughing about it. He says when he tries to engage an antiwar Hollywood liberal in a discussion about the war - they are so blinded by their rage and their hatred of the President and they are so vicious - the conversation never goes anywhere. Mr. Silver is impressive.
