(AgapePress) - A Massachusetts group battling judicial activism and the advancing homosexual agenda in their state is reporting that the father of a kindergarten student was arrested on Wednesday during a scheduled meeting with the principal of his son's school. Since January, the father of the six-year-old had been attempting to get his son opted-out from discussions portraying homosexuality as acceptable.

then states have to take over the law school regulation process. this self regulated system favors having only leftist professors and left leaning students.

I looked at that "Diversity Bookbags" link and found "multicultural crayons" mentioned a few times. Crayola actually makes them. Guess I've been out of kindergarten too long.

found at: http://www.ssww.com/store/product/sku=SC470/

Crayons come in 8 different skin tones, so children can draw and blend colors to match every complex ion. Help develop self-esteem and ethnic pride. Non-toxic. Standard Size. Box of 8. (Crayon Stdrd Multicultural Bx/8)

"The subject of homosexuality is explicit. Homosexuality is only about recreational sex."

As stupid as teaching kindergarteners about tolerating same sex couples is, it falling under sex education opt out laws is open for debate because it can simply be taught as accepting MM or FF “couples” without referring to the “sex”.

I think it’ll backfire on its own by shedding light on the gay activism creeping into even kindergarten.

what shocks me about this is that the principle did not simply follow the rules and law.

Father says I do not approve of these sexual materials, take my child out of that class. The should is required by law to do so.

period.

The only thing this principle has done by defending teaching homosexuality to kindergardners is buy a lawsuit.

BTW to all: is this not who pedophiles start to recruit children? By desensitising the children to sexual concepts?

This article’s title is misleading. He was arrested for trespassing, not for wanting to change the curriculum.
---
They could have arrested him for running in the hall.
I would have left the school when asked, but I would have had my child with me.

"What do you mean arrested for trespassing? A parent has not the right to enter the school where his child is?"

He wasn’t arrested for entering, but for refusing to leave.

Question on a related activity: What happened with the "We Are Family" video in your school districts? The showings would have been weeks ago. Heard anything? Did your schools participate?

HONEST AND CORRECT OPINION:

These are the options for educating today's children:

1. Homeschool
2. A good private school
3. A combination of homeschooling/private school classes.

That's it.

Jesus said: "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore, they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." -from THE BIBLE: Matthew 19:4-6

I agree with the poster who said this seems too much like satire to be real...the fact that it IS real is depressing.

It amazes me that the Massachusetts Teachers Association pays for daily radio ads to whine and moan about the Republican Governor's policies, school funding, lack of respect for the efforts of teachers....blah, blah, blah. Perhaps they should look closer to home (or the curriculum) for the source of failing public schools.

We have MCAS up here, which are somewhat rigorous standardized tests students must pass to graduate. It is part of the No Child Left Behind program...you know, the one libs complain isn't funded? Students haven't performed all too well on these, so its only perfectly logical to spend time out of the 180 alloted school days befuddling 6 year olds with gays, lesbians and what appears to be other religions (Henry's First Moon Party?). Funny how there was no similarly pretentious tome on Christianity or Judaism, no?

Are math, science and reading now afterschool programs?

This appalling example of shameless liberal indoctrination should be shown to every American parent. Now, and the day before Election Day.

Ain't this the same state that had a seminar on the joy of "fisting"?

and you are surprised when a parent stands up and doesn't want that (I'm going to say it) UNNATURAL ACT is portrayed as normal and gets arrested?

He wasn’t arrested for entering, but for refusing to leave.

Nonsense. It's a taxpayer supported public venue. Why should he have to leave?

The important underlying issue isn't trespass, and you know it. It's the right of a parent to protect his very young and impressionable child from being force-indoctrinated into moral filth. If this father hadn't been seeking to protect his child, the school would have never called the police and had him arrested. Thus, he was arrested for seeking to protect his child.

It is. And the concerned parents who secretly recorded that disgusting seminar were prosecuted for doing so. Of course, had they openly recorded it they would have been kicked out or arrested.

Apparently, the State of Massachussets believes it owns all children found in the state as its chattel property.

That is exactly what this diversity curriculum is about. It's almost as though NAMBLA wrote the curriculum. They couldn't force their way into the Boy Scouts, but the welcome mat is there for them in our public schools.

Provides scientifically accurate explanations that are meaningful to young children

Believe me when I tell you these 'accurate' explanations are specific - and let's the young 5-6 year old know just what mommy and daddy are doing under the sheets.

This is information that a child that young not only has no need nor has the capacity to put in a healthy concept...but interferes with their healthy development - (in other words, screws them up - and interferes with their relationship with their parents, particularly in addition to other 'latent imprint' teachings that drive the wedge between the child and parents.

I had an organization I called "Families for Freedom", back in the 80's when home schooling in Maine got you jailed.

We fought all this to the ground, thru' networking with other groups, spent a lot of time in the Capitol and testifying, getting bills sponsored, fought these very books and other equally as destructive etc...

I was an "all expenses paid" guest of Phyllis Schafley's in a nationwide conference in DC - we had a private tour of the WH - and Pres Reagan was our guest speaker at our banquet.

Maine is now one of the leading states in home schooling - and no need to get "permission" from the state or local eds.

an aside: My daughter is married to a Navy pilot - and after their most recent deployment, their house has 4 bedrooms, allowing for each of the 3 little girls their own rooms. When their other grandparents went to visit, the little 5 year old took gramma around: "this is K.'s room, and this is C's room and this is my room!" and then with a little sad face of sympathy, said;"But mommy and daddy have to share a room."

And that is all a 5 year old has to know :O)
