I hope they don't have any downloaded music. He could be in big trouble then.
LOL!!
If the MSM has anything to do with this...we'll never know what those tapes reveal.
Fodder for the media.
IMO, we're not going to find out the whole story about
Saddam's plans for WMD until after the trial is over.
To release info before that time would be opening up
charges of "evidence planting" by the U.S.
Al Jazeera would have a field day!
A great coup for our intelligence services. The info on these tapes will prove to be very enlightening I'm sure.
It would be nice if they found out ANYTHING we "the public" would get told about it. Grrrr....
How could they have possibly made a definitive statement that there were no WMDs if they haven't reviewed ALL the documents and evidence?
It would be great if Saddam had a personal collection of videos showing political opponents with panties on their heads, stacked into naked pyramids.
But somehow I doubt it. It'd probably be prisoners into wood chippers and being fed alive to dogs.
Hey Carl,
Can you provide a link to the new report?
I'm not knocking you but Newsmax gets no "creds" when talking to liberals and I want to smack them upside the head with this.
We were lead to believe by the MSM that this issue WMD's was resolved.
NOT! :-)
Sure - shoulda put the URL in my report. This comes from a note Duelfer wrote at the end of the addendum. The URL for that note is:
http://www.cia.gov/cia/reports/iraq_wmd_2004/note.html
It has chapped my hide for some time now that, although the WMD search is still on, the MSM long ago concluded that "there are / were no WMDs." The truth is, we've barely scratched the surface in terms of searching for in situ evidence, and, in terms of trying to find evidence of things moved into Syria or airlifted to any number of places, almost nothing has apparently been done. One final note - the death of Dr. David Kelley was a major blow to the hope of uncovering bio war evidence. He was one of few A players - one of maybe 2 or 3 people who had both personally uncovered Russian / Soviet covert and illegal programs, and, were also experts in Iraqi programs.
Thanks!
The American who led the hunt for Iraq's missing weapons of mass destruction has revealed that the investigation was cut short after he was targeted by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the militant leader in an attack that left two people dead. The head of the Iraq Survey Group, Charles Duelfer, has reported that his investigation into the possible transfer of WMD to Syria had been wound up because of the "declining security situation".
Maybe this is why Dubya is having a press conference tonite. I would love for him to say "See... I TOLD YOU SO!!!!"
Well, I would say this is the best example yet of the MSM misrepresenting a story----
The only thing I heard that even remotely indicated that WMDS were totally made up in Bush's mind, was that Duelfer indicated that the scientists are still alive and still have the memories of how to make up the chemical and biological weapons at a moments notice---I was angry that this part of the report hadn't gotten more "play", BUT
after reading this article I would say that the MSM buying, listening public should sue the MSM for purposly misrepresenting a news story!!!
Nope, the press conference is for Social Security. Already confirmed.
...To release info before that time would be opening up

Al Jazeera would have a field day!......
But to leak their existance and potential for incriminating others might produce a virtual choir or retributive singers.
