Now for you Freepers who have been around since the start, do you remember how we were tarred and feathered doing the Clinton Years, when we spoke out or confronted the liberal left?
We were called hateful, bigoted and a few other names the Mods will not let me post, but now the creeps over at Air(less)America can play spots with gunshots towards the President, now if Rush or Hannity had done this doing the Clinton Years, not only would they have been investigated, but fired as well.
Don't let yourself be fooled threats against the President are not covered as free speech, we were talking about kicking it old school freepers style and I think it is time to flood the switchboards of Air America and it supporters. Little Chucky claims that Bush's Judical Nominees are outside of the mainstream, but has appeared on Air America and we need to remind the him that threats against the President are also outside the mainstream!!!!
If we all speak with one voice there is no way in hell the MSM can ignore us, we have to flood their switchboards, messageboards and emails with this story as well as take the issue to our allies in the press.

AA is just trying to boost its audience. Right now they're targeting the black suit and tie with earpiece and pistols crowd. They're such loyal fans, they just can't wait to break down the door and endow their idols with some nice shiny metallic hand jewelry.

Yesterday the Seattle P.I. blasted Republicans for their supposed lack of "civility" regarding the judicial nomination battle. Today I wrote them a letter pointing out the Dems'lack of civility on this same issue, and concluded my letter by quoting Air America's "shoot Bush" bit, and asked if this passed the P.I.'s civility test.
Probably doesn't apply in this case. Most of the advertisers on the SF station -- and if that isn't a dream market, then what is? -- are crackpot book publishers, random web sites, and the occasional pot club. You won't get any help deciding what car or mobile phone *not* to buy there.
Maybe the SS has to look into this by law, but that's not really what we want to get out of this; that can be turned around into making them martyrs or victims of a Bush witch-hunt. No, what we need to get from this is an admission by the MSM that liberal Air America is a foul-mouthed, nasty, uncivil, violence-inciting entity; in other words, it is exactly what they always claimed conservative talk radio is.

Maybe they should rename their radio show to CON AIR. That was a movie as well. AND the radio show hosts mentality and educational levels and street tactics match the passengers on the plane very closely. (except the CONS on CON AIR were smarter)

Let AA stand alone. They are dying and any attention may prevent that.
Nothing. We do nothing. Why? Because stupidity eventually reaches a critical mass and explodes of it's own volition.
Lots of things will conspire to kill Air America:
1. The Free Market that it hates so much - no one listens anyway and when that happens, no one wants to advertise on it. No ads, no revenue, no more Air America.
2. Air America is merely the result of another of those "brilliant" democratic insights as to why they keep losing elections --- in this case, they lose because they have not staked out a popular medium, i.e. "talk radio" in which to air their propagand...errrr...views.
3. As the population ages, the proportion of liberals shrinks exponentially. Young liberals age, they get mugged by reality, and the next thing you know, they become republicans. Having to support a family and pay bills is a wonderful cure for unbridled idealism. This is known in psychiatric circles as "reality intruding".
4. Democrats have already come up with their new "brilliant" insight to continued defeat: they are not "religious" enough. With every democrat and his mother tripping over each other on the way to Church, and Air America decrying on a daily basis the dangerous slide into theocracy, something is going to have to go. Since democrats will not jettison the false mantle of religion they've adopted, Air America will be silenced from within so as not to give the sheep any idea that the new conversion is not "genuine".
5. YOu can only put so many "B-List" celebrities on the radio before people lose interest. Al Franken and Janeane Garofalo are not exactly the biggest draws in the world. They're sorta like the last Vaudvillians (sp?), hanging on in the age of motion pictures and radio. Tastes are changing and they are unable to change with them.
6. Paraprhasing Shakespeare: TReason never prospers, else we dare not call it treason".
7. You can only be trapped in your car for so long listening to that noise before you eaither start to bleed from the ears or grab an automatic weapon and walk into your local post office to commit a heinous multiple murder/suicicde.
8. Liberal attention spans are measured in MPH.
9. George Soros will eventually find a better use for his stolen money.
10. In the topsy-turvy world of media consolidation, it's merely a matter of time before larger media companies come around and buy up the staions that AIr America airs on, turning them over to the more finacially-rewarding Top 40, Easy Listening, Hip Hop or sports radio formats.
11. Some liberals will eventually learn to read, and thus, the need to have their propaganda spoon fed to them will return to the real mouthpiece of the far-left: the newspapers.
12. Alan Colmes is considered "too moderate" for Air America. The line up of "hosts" will get increasingly more shrill, more partisan, more psychotic, more ideological, until we have 24 hours of readings from Lenin's Maxims or Chairman Mao's Little Red Book. Eventually, the audience will be indoctrinated to a fever pitch and start purging themselves of "ideological impurities". In other words, they'll sentence each other to the gulag and fall apart from within.
13. They'll have to start running Air America programs in Spanish, further reducing the number of people who listen. Liberals talk a lot obout the plight of Mexicans and Central Americans, but very few actually will take the time to learn the language.
14. Medical science will discover the defective gene that causes liberalism and formulate a vaccine.
15. Bill and Hillary will eventually die and there will be nothing left for Air America to talk about.
16. Air America is thisclose to a having a successful libel lawsuit filed against it, which will serve as a cautionary tale to the network and the rhetoric will be toned down. When the outrage is turned down, people will tune out. While Air America is supposed to be about politics, once you start to lose money, the suits take over.
17. Air America can't compete against 24/7 cable news which brings you your politics and Runaway Brides. If given a choice, most people would opt to have their serious issues served up with a side of the ridiculous. Air America cannot compete on that kind of playing field.
18. No child can throw a temper tantrum for more than a short period of time. The exertion typcally wears them out.
19. One day, someone will walk into an Air America station and embark upon a festival of death with a shotgun because he was put on hold while waiting to rant at Al Franken. One thing liberals really hate is to be put on hold.
20. Someone will do to Al Franken, et. al., what Al Franken, et. al. have done to others, and the disgrace will cause them to keep a low profile. The Cosmic Karmic Balance will be restored.
