Until these uber-liberals like the nutjobs at the NYTimes and Katie Couric join the Church, become a Cardinal, and are elected Pope, maybe they should STFU on where the Church stands. Very good article. I like this part:

She ranted that 78 percent of American Catholics wanted the Church to be less conservative ("The Today Show," April 18, 2005). But as the Media Research Center pointed out, the only poll they were able "to locate with such a finding was an early April CNN-USA Today-Gallup survey of Catholics which found 78 percent said the next pope should "allow Catholics to use birth control."

When some so-called news reader or writer starts citing polls you might as well ignore them. That's not reporting anything close to news that's trying to make it.
