Good morning ALL
Thanks for sharing DD, I know it was heart wrenching to see in person.
Natural Laws ...
"The Law of Volunteering"
If you dance with a grizzly bear, you had better let him lead.
"The Law of Avoiding Oversell"
When putting cheese in a mousetrap, always leave room for the mouse.
"The Law of Reality"
Never get into fights with ugly people, they have nothing to lose.
"The Law of Self Sacrifice"
When you starve with a tiger, the tiger starves last.
"Weiler's Law"
Nothing is impossible for the man who doesn't have to do it himself.
"Law of Probable Dispersal"
Whatever hits the fan will not be evenly distributed.
"Law of Volunteer Labor"
People are always available for work in the past tense.
"Conway's Law"
In any organization there is one person who knows what is going on. That person must be fired.
"Iron Law of Distribution"
Them that has, gets.
"Law of Cybernetic Entomology"
There is always one more bug.
"Heller's Law"
The first myth of management is that it exists.
"Osborne's Law"
Variables won't; constants aren't.
"Main's Law"
For every action there is an equal and opposite government program.
"Berg's Second Law"
If builders built buildings the way programmers wrote programs, then the first woodpecker that came along would have destroyed civilization.

Fantastic thread here!
HE HOLDS IT ALL TOGETHER
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth"...but when was
the beginning? Since only the Creator is eternal, it is reasonable to view
'the beginning' as the start of time, a dimension like a window in the
middle of eternity. If the stars were not created until God spoke them into
existence on the fourth day, what is the meaning of 'heavens'? The original
Hebrew word actually means 'stretched out space'! In other words, God
created even the empty space in which to place the earth!
"For by Jesus all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth,
visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or
authorities--all things have been created through Jesus and for Him. He is
before all things, and in Jesus all things hold together." Colossians 1:16-17
Atoms, the building blocks of all physical things, are composed of 3
elements: space, matter and energy. Although the raw materials for planet
Earth were created, it was only formless matter; void of something
necessary for sustaining life. That missing 'something' needed to bring
matter together in forming Earth was the third aspect: energy.
God works everything in logical order and His sequence of creative acts is
no exception. Visible light is not only the narrow band of color we see
with our eyes. Light is just one of at least 75 octaves included in the
entire electromagnetic spectrum. As God spoke "Let there be light!", matter
was energized and the basic elements took shape, initiating the physical
laws that rule all forms of matter. Particles were now in motion and
operating in time! And all of it was - and is - held together by our Lord;
"For in Him we live and move and exist." (Acts 17:28)
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through
Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.
In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men." John 1:1-4
A most comforting truth is that the sovereignty of God extends to the daily
details of our lives. He's concerned about us and His control extends over
all our days, working all things to our good!

Rest in the Lord and know that All Is Well. Do not allow worry or fear to
enter into your heart, but stand firm and know that if God said it, then it
will surely come to pass. (Ephesians 6:10-14) (Numbers 23:19-20)
could screw up formating, but now that you wrote that I think one of the mysteries of why my centering didn ' t remain centered & why things "disappear" over the years IS ANSWERED... I will use the

We are! Thanks for sharing the photos along with the story. Thanks for the FR link, too, Meg. I missed it then. Just beautiful, all!
There was lots of military brass and an eloquent (though inappropriately longwinded) Baptist preacher.
I have to agree that Baptist preachers, at funerals, almost always are inappropriately longwinded. :(
Thank you for this Awesome Tribute!
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8a NIV)
Keeps me keep going as I wait to find that one true love who'll finally take me as her husband.
