Just Typical (Let history remember the Clintons' last days
The Shinbone ^ | February 9, 2001 | Daniel Clark

You would expect that Bill and Hillary Clinton, of all people, would understand the importance of last impressions. After all, theirs has been the most superficial, image-conscious, poll-driven, photo-op presidency of all time. The contrived images of the Clinton years are indelible: their hand-in-hand waddle on the beach; Bill walking from church carrying a bible the size of a cereal box, the words "Holy Bible" pointed outward for everyone to see, as if in a commercial; Hillary's frilly pink press conference on Whitewater, where she mimicked the pose struck by Abe Lincoln in the portrait behind her, suggesting that she had somehow acquired honesty through a psychic medium.

I was googling for the date when Hillary gave her famous Pink Press Conference and found this excellent article. Great for week-end reading, and great to keep in mind as Hillary 2008 looms ever closer.

I had enough of Hillary. So glad we don't have to see her anymore here. She is such a fake (I have my own horror story on this). I will get the heck out of here if she wins (Shudder shudder)

Hillary's cellulite is disgusting. She needs a trainer. I can't blame Bill

You have to remember...these two grew up with
commercial ads and 12-1/2 minute mind focus
...thanks to the Pavlovian approach toward
TV audiences! Their constituents are not only
used to it, they can't cope with anything too
sophisticated! This is the party that bases
all its "hits" on the American public being
unable to remember anything beyond 6 months.

But then, what else were we to expect from Queen Hillary, who fancies herself so superior to others that White House employees were under orders to avert their eyes when they saw her walking down the hall?

I always thought this was done to protect White House employees who would otherwise have been turned to stone.

"Bill walking from church carrying a bible the size of a cereal box, the words "Holy Bible" pointed outward for everyone to see,"

See Howard Dean was right when he said, "We need to talk about Christian values and how they're Democratic values."!!!

One of the happiest days of my adult life was watching Bill Clinton slinking down the Capitol building steps at noon on January 20, 2001 -- hands in pockets, collar raised, jaws visibly clenched, looking down as he slinked into the judgment of history. You could just see how much he was hating it.

That is a good article and a horrid reminder of the gullibility of American liberals.

good find.

Clintons: the stench that keeps on stinking.

Isn't it time to take the trash out?

I remembered that day well. Remember when W actually lead them down those long steps to the car? Priceless.

It was a glorious day. One of my top 10 favorites comes from the 2001 archives ---

MIDI - TEDDY BEARS PICNIC -- 1st version

It’s January the twentieth…we’re waiting for Bill’s removal
The SWAT team has been sent in to help…it’s done without his approval

It’s finally through…it’s hard to believe
It now is time for lefties to grieve
Today we watch the great White House fumigation

The actions of the First Witch we know are certainly quite revealing
They look into Rodham’s carpetbag…the silverware she is stealing

It’s finally through…it’s hard to believe
It now is time for lefties to grieve
Today we watch the great White House fumigation

Willy really is furious…Wolfie Blitzer is curious
He is wondering why…oh why…they’re not begging Willy to stay
It’s the worst of all tragedies…he is begging, “Oh, pretty please”
And so Wolfie has warned…yes, he’s warned…that his hunger strike starts today

No one’s really surprised to find…Jesse’s there and he’s lost his mind
As he screams to “Stay out da bushes” he looks like some circus clown
Is this screwball ingesting drugs?…as he leads a parade of thugs
And he’s swearing to all…yes, to all…he is gonna shake someone down

The locksmith’s waiting out in his truck…new locks he will be installing
Now Bill has started to panic…and Ruth Bader Ginsburg he’s calling

It’s finally through…it’s hard to believe
It now is time for lefties to grieve
Today we watch the great White House fumigation

Chemical trucks line the street
To see a great big tent, oh wouldn’t that be so very sweet
Workers put on gloves and mask
They wonder if they’re up to such a sticky task
Law enforcement’s had enough
And so the FBI gives Willy its last command
They drag him out while kicking and screaming and what is this we see?
Bill’s pants are down…what’s that in his hand?

(musical interlude)

Chemical trucks line the street
To see a great big tent, oh wouldn’t that be so very sweet
Workers put on gloves and mask
They wonder if they’re up to such a sticky task
Law enforcement’s had enough
And so the FBI gives Willy its last command
They drag him out while kicking and screaming and what is this we see?
Bill’s pants are down…what’s that in his hand?
