HILL: MY $$ MAN 'WILL BE CLEARED'
April 23, 2005 -- WASHINGTON — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday stood behind her indicted former fund-raiser after prosecutors said Ted Kennedy's brother-in-law taped him making "incriminating" statements about her Senate campaign's Hollywood gala. "The Senate campaign committee fully cooperated with the investigation. [David] Rosen worked hard for the campaign and we trust that when all the facts are in, he will be cleared," Clinton lawyer David Kendall said in an e-mail to The Post.
Rosen goes to trial May 3 on charges of falsely underreporting the costs of the August 2000 gala — thus inflating the amount of campaign cash ostensibly raised for Clinton at the event.
Sen. Kennedy's brother-in-law — New Orleans operative Ray Reggie — was the mystery witness who went undercover for the FBI for 21/2 years and wore a wire to tape Rosen.
Sources told The Post Reggie never taped either Bill or Hillary Clinton during the time that he was working undercover for the FBI, from July 2002 through last December.

Depending on what the guy says - and if the public will ever be allowed to hear what Rosen said to the informant - this could be very very damaging to Hillary.
I say "could be" because I've never known people like the Clintons who could commit such continual criminal behavior and get a pass.
And .. if the DEMOCRAT MEDIA are willing to hide the Reid scandal .. how much more will they provide cover for Hillary. Even if the guy exposes Hillary on the tapes - the media will try to hide it.
Cleared is some funky scientology term. They may all be smoking out of the same pipe.

The fact that Reggie was wired for 2 1/2 years gives me hope (some anyway) that Hitlery could become implicated. Why would they go to all this trouble and risk for a false reporting of the expenses for one fundraiser? Doesn't make sense to me.

Me either. They certainly didn't know about the event 2 years in advance and if they got evidence at the event, why continue the wire. They were (are) going for more and probably have it. Senator "A"????, my butt.
