Saddam invested one million dollars in Paul Martin-owned Cordex by Judi McLeod, Canadafreepress.com Friday, April 22, 2005
The Canadian company that Saddam Hussein invested a million dollars in belonged to the Prime Minister of Canada, canadafreepress.com has discovered.
Cordex Petroleum Inc., launched with Saddams million by Prime Minister Paul Martins mentor Maurice Strongs son Fred Strong, is listed among Martins assets to the Federal Ethics committee on November 4, 2003.
Among Martins Public Declaration of Declarable Assets are: "The Canada Steamship Lines Group Inc. (Montreal, Canada) 100 percent owned"; "Canada Steamship Lines Inc. (Montreal, Canada) 100 percent owned"Cordex Petroleums Inc. (Alberta, Canada) 4.6 percent owned by the CSL Group Inc."

Hmmmmm...
"Going once..."
"Going twice..."
"Sold! to Mr. Saddam Hussein of Iraq..."
"Please remember, all sales are 'AS IS', with no warranty of any kind, implicit or explicit..."

According to the todays New York Sun, "the next chapter in the United Nations crisis may erupt over U.N. investigator Paul Volckers membership on the board of one of Canadas biggest companies, Power Corporation, since a past president of the firm, Canadian tycoon Maurice Strong, is now tied to the oil-for-food scandal."
The missing facts are: Not only are Volcker and Strong hooked with the ties that bind to Power Corporation Inc., a company under investigation in the oil-for-food scandal, Prime Minister Paul Martin was launched into the business world with Canadian Steamship Lines by Paul Desmaraiss Power Corporation Inc. and his predecessor Jean Chretiens daughter, France is married to Paul Desmarais son, Andre Desmarais.
Gee... Guess we have the reason why Martin was so opposed to the war.
I would love to see a flow chart on this. Would be quite the spider web.
I can't wait for the south park episode...
"Hey, relax guy."
There is always a tide that washes all the filth away. Is GWB such a tide?
...& the Ketchup couple owned a chunk of BNP, the oil-for-palaces bank...small world...
FReepers suspected this all along of course.
Was this mentioned in Martin's speech last night?
And why the libs are desperate to keep John Bolton away from the UN......

Gee .. that sounds like an Oil Company name
Hmmmm.... Has Al Frankin discussed this on his radio show yet?
Heh.
Paul Martin is a loathsome crook
worse than Chretien
because he is smoother and more successful
(and richer)
but Paul Martin did not own Cordex
he owned shares in Cordex.
There is a slight difference
and giving the article such a title
brings discredit to "Canada Free Press"
which has produced some valuable stories.
I believe they said during the Committee hearing .. it was something about not wanting him to reform and change the UN
