Y'all are reading WAY too much into this. Rush visited the set of one of his favorite shows......invited.......and had a blast. It seems his hosts enjoyed him, as well. What the hell, folks......seems pretty straightforward.
Good for you, Rush. I'd love to visit that set myself. Great show.
Forget the son---Where is Heller??? One hopes he will return to take out the new "President" before he destroys the nation.
If this show were reality the U.S.A. would have been placed under martial law around 8pm.
I agree.
Best show in history of TV.
Check out Fox's "House, M.D." on Tues at 9pm. Brilliant TV.
Absolutely, without hesitation.
I kinda like House, although it's a bit predictable now. I'm kinda a stickler for things that just don't make sense or would never happen in real life. A hospital would NEVER allow a practicing Dr. to pop vicodin while on the job no matter how presigious that Dr. is. Wouldn't happen. No way, no how.
Do you think the VP is in on the thing..I mean, this is network TV, the white man has to be the real villian in the end!
Maybe it means Rush is ready ...
Yes...it is.
BTW....This is the first season I have watched "24".
Who was the black guy they showed at the end of the preview for next weeks show?
It was obvious that long time viewers would know him at a glance.
I have hospitals and doctors as patients. You would be shocked what goes on behind some walls.
I'm not saying it doesn't go on, I'm saying it wouldn't go on blatantly in front of the patients. Hey, while we're on great TV shows, have you seen NIP/TUCK?
This minor error drops our "Harmless, Lovable, Little Fuzzball", our "Doctor of Democracy", our "Guiding Light in Times of Trouble, Confusion, Tumult, Chaos, Fear, Uncertainty, Torture, Humiliation, and Yes, Even the Good Times", down to a documented 98.3999999999999% on the Truth-O-Meter.
When Michael Chiklis starred as John Belushi in the movie version of Bob Woodward's unflattering biography Wired, he was dumped on by SNL cast members, some of whom suggested he wouldn't work in Hollywood after trashing the memory of Belushi. Primary among these were Dan Aykroyd.
Who's not working now?
Awesome post!
For the past couple of years, everybody knows that you don't call my house between 9 and 10 on Monday night. I get out of my chair and pace around sometimes, watching 24. What this country could use is a platoon of Jack Bauers.
This is not posted directly at you but just a good spot to respond on this thread.
If as conservatives and Christians that are grounded in our beliefs what is so wrong with enjoying "entertainment".
I don't get the Hollywood bashing. It is just written entertainment that IMO is not to be taken as gospel.
I watched a quirky movie today Black Book that I enjoyed as entertainment.
Some folks enjoy a good baseball game as entertainment thats how I view movies. I enjoy them for entertainment. I watch what I like.
I don't watch what doesn't entertain me. Scary horror movies personally don't entertain me unless I have a pal wathching with me and we scream like fools. That's fun.
I am not morally or politically swayed by entertainment.
But I enjoy a good comedy or suspense who done it.
I even enjoy B rated flicks. Steven Seagul movies are so lame but I like them.
If somebody finds tv/movies borish and would prefer a hike in the hills good for them but don't be so snobby to those who enjoy that form of entertainment. I see the stupidity in the writing but I am not taking it as gospel.
Just Sheesh.
Yeah, I watch that one, too. Pretty weird to watch Bertie Wooster playing an American Dr.
I guess I will watch 24 for the first time.
I seldom watch a new TV show as I haven't seen a good one in about 10 years.
Joni sounds like a spinner.:)
Ping. . .
