This is not posted directly at you but just a good spot to respond on this thread.

If as conservatives and Christians that are grounded in our beliefs what is so wrong with enjoying "entertainment".

I don't get the Hollywood bashing. It is just written entertainment that IMO is not to be taken as gospel.

I watched a quirky movie today Black Book that I enjoyed as entertainment.

Some folks enjoy a good baseball game as entertainment thats how I view movies. I enjoy them for entertainment. I watch what I like.
I don't watch what doesn't entertain me. Scary horror movies personally don't entertain me unless I have a pal wathching with me and we scream like fools. That's fun.

I am not morally or politically swayed by entertainment.
But I enjoy a good comedy or suspense who done it.
I even enjoy B rated flicks. Steven Seagul movies are so lame but I like them.

If somebody finds tv/movies borish and would prefer a hike in the hills good for them but don't be so snobby to those who enjoy that form of entertainment. I see the stupidity in the writing but I am not taking it as gospel.
Just Sheesh.

Exactly right.

They're are many newcomers to 24 (a lot of them Freepers) who tuned into the show because it was hyped by Glen Beck and Michael Savage at the beginning of the year. I don't know what they were expecting, but 24 is just a TV show--it's written entertainment, like you said. It's not intended to be a documentary or an exposé, which seems to have disappointed some to the point that they will gladly mock anyone who enjoys the show.

I never got into Steven Segal, but I'm a real sucker for action flicks! Some of my all time favorites are Sly Stallone and Ahhnold movies, and some recent ones are Vin Diesel's Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick. I also like Nicholas Cage's action flicks like Con Air, and I really liked National Treasure
