C-span

Posted on 04/19/2005 11:07:48 AM PDT by ken5050

OK..here's what we know..Senate is in recess for the weekly party caucus luncheons. Supposed to resume at 2:15. on C-span 2.. The Foreign Relations committee is supposed to meet at 2:45 to vote on the Bolton nomination. Lugar has refused requests for a delay. Just before the Senate recessed, Reid objected to Frist's UC request for the Froeign Relations committee to meet today. Frist withdrew his request..

Well, Kerry just gave the whole room a good laugh for his Karl Rove slip up.

Errrr....I have finally decided to show up to committee meetings and earn my paycheck, even though I don't need it!

Does anyone hear this guy?? He is saying the Senate MUST listen to the anti-Bolton guy BECAUSE THE ANTI-BOLTON GUY SERVED IN THE MILITARY!!

bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

I want to hear Lugar ask Lurch if he ever signed that Form 180 like he said he would on Meet The Press a few months ago.

Exactly.

Listen to Kerry now listing the "problems" with Bolton, which, as luck would have it, are the very "problems" that Biden just enumerated for the TV cameras.

that's what they do.....they want to hurt President bush anyway they can...sending Bolton to the UN all beaten up is a good enough goal for them if they can't wrreck the nomination all together.

"We haven't explored that record," says Kerry. LOL. Question about Bolton's credibility, he says. LOL!

Kerry say they're voting on the truth...so I'm assuming his vote would be "NO to the truth"

Evidently there is no such thing as "incompetence" of government workers to Democrats.

Kerry feels strongly that people's records should be examined closely.

Just slap me.

I would guess there will be debate on the senate floor before the vote is taken.
