The driver's "award" should be a couple of years with Bubba as a cell mate.

Some things never change. In 1976 a classmate of mine was killed riding on the hood of his friend's car while recreating a scene from Starsky and Hutch.

I'm a creationist but I definitely approve of letting some of the morons at the shallow end of the gene pool thin themselves out.

"He was on top of a hood and they slammed on the brake and he fell off ... trapped under the tires,"
If they were moving foward and the driver slammed on his brakes, he should have been ejected foward off the hood of the car. Assuming the driver stopped his car after braking, how did he end up under the car?

I did this once, believe it or not, in the parking lot of the beach at East Harbor State Park on Lake Erie. I was almost a candidate for the Darwin Award.
Thank goodness we were going very slowly when I lost my balance (which I didn't have much of to begin with due to the Carling's...).

I suppose John Edwards has the name of the vehicle operator and has contacted the "victim's" family by now... I don't know about that, but I'm sure he has the name of the vehicle manufacturer...

A chain of bad decisions isn't an accident, it is the result of stupidity.

"I would say also the driver needs some sort of 'darwin' award. "slamming" on the brakes was not exactly the smartest thing to do either."
I know, with friends like that. First he locks him out of the car, then slams on the brakes. Kinda sounds like the driver of the car had it in for him.

Niece and nephew of an acquaintance of ours: brother driving, sister on hood of car. She fell off, smashed her head on the pavement. Permanent brain damage. The brother out of guilt, remorse, GRIEF took to using drugs. Two years later he's dead of an over dose. People who do stupid things need help too.

The driver should be charged with vehicular homicide.

My kids did this ONCE in high school. Before they got home (6 blocks away) I had been called by the neighbors.
It's all part of why I'm prematurely white-haired.
