Does Free Republic and Jim Robinson ban those who disagree with them? asks The Conservative Voice.
Most all of the posters seek "Anonymity" when replying to the question raised on The Conservative Voice website: Is Free Republic Biased?
Nathan Tabor, Senior Editor and webmaster, moderates this running "Topic of the Day" and everyday discussion.
One "Anonymous" poster writes: "Re: Is Free Republic Biased? Biased? Well, since the site is dominated by paid party operatives and federal employees who allow no dissent from the Bush regime's latest political propaganda releases, you could say that it's more a solid, one way amen corner for the neoconservative cabal than a biased website."
Still another "Anonymous" poster writes:"Re: Is Free Republic Biased? They banned me for complaining about losing my career to outsourcing. They taunted and gloated with perverse kitty pictures, infantile cartoons, and guttural remarks that reveal their mentality.The flames fanned by their hatred are now licking at their heels."
ALIPAC also posts the subject: Conservative Website FREE REPUBLIC Mutinies over Bush Comments" and notes: "With reports coming in from around the nation of a split in the conservative base over the Bush amnesty and open borders plans, the nations most frequented conservative website erupted into a mutiny against Bush policies on Thursday. This article below elicited the response. Please take the time to read this article and the comments of many conservatives that are dismayed by Bush's statements about the Minuteman Project on FreeRepublic.com As many of you know, Free Republic had made previous efforts to control the debate by purging immigration reform users."
What seems to be a fledgling conservative based site, The Conservative Voice appears to seek readership through indexed forums dedicated to the Mother Bird herself, Free Republic. If you were wondering what happens to those little birds that fall or are kicked out of the FR nest (which I know you do not, but makes my play on words work); you might find some of them under the Free Republic Indexed forums over on The Conservative Voice.
I had scrolled through the whole topic and at the time it had showed nothing since 02/26/05.
Anyway, it looks like our thread here gave their thread there, new life. too funny !

Wait a minute, we're supposed to be paid? LOL. I am not, and have never been in league with the Bush' regime. I voted for him twice. I do not (for the most part) regret that. I would love to have a nice ong chat with him about the border issues but to call those of us on here basically republican operatives is foolish at best. I consider myself conservative before republican.
If this is the guy I am thinking of he did more then complain, he out right whined at high volume.

(1) He lost the election for the NC 5 seat to Congress. Never mind that he had zero experience and pretends to be qualified merely by being "Conservative."
(2) He signed up on this site for one reason: he thought that by espousing Conservative ideals that he'd win the support of us in the NC 5th. However, he found that we are a tough lot out here. We ask tough questions and we don't simply roll over for every fresh face that has an "R" in back of their names. And it was pretty evident that he was trying to use us. And thus...
(3) He got banned. Multiple times, IIRC.
So now, in an effort to remind people that he still exists, he's finding things to write about in the hopes (presumably) that Virginia Foxx will either die in office or otherwise retire so that he can get another shot at this seat.
So with that, tarheels, keep watch: young Nate ain't goin' away quietly.

Free Republic is not biased, it is confused. There are many good conservative Americans there. The owner is biased on some issues, such as Illegal immigration and the Minute Men Project. He’s for the former and against the later, just as Grover Norquist is.
90% of the forum supports the MMP and he is now in a quandary, because he can’t ban them all or even allow them to know how he feels at this point. Instead he allows/condones half a dozen long held self admitted liberal disruptors, Harrowup, ClintonBeGone, Dane, bayourod, etc. to attempt to run off the opposition with lies, race baiting, slander while holding to the one principle that keeps the forum alive, that being most posters won’t bother to find out the facts, they’ll just follow the leader having no idea where he’s going.
Immigration threads are often stuffed in the smoky back room to try to keep their exposure at a minimum when they are not deleted. In his own words:

Let's face it how much can one really say about immigration and our borders without becoming redundant. Twas the same with the Schrivo scenario; you are either on one side or on the other; and perhaps vacillating in the middle. Makes for great debate and fact checking. Posters just cannot take it personally--so much for the leap to whining over on TCV.

He compared ALIPAC to Storm Front, a white supremacist organization. Your response is non-sequitur.
You are unhappy with the fact that ALIPAC and TCV both bash FR. I agree that is unfortunate, but that is where their similarity ends. TCV is Nathan Tabor's own little fan-club page dedicated to his ego alone. ALIPAC is a lobbying effort to get legislators to pay attention to the issue of illegal immigration. To generalize them together simply because they both have bashed FR is ridiculous.
