Does Free Republic and Jim Robinson ban those who disagree with them? asks The Conservative Voice.
Most all of the posters seek "Anonymity" when replying to the question raised on The Conservative Voice website: Is Free Republic Biased?
Nathan Tabor, Senior Editor and webmaster, moderates this running "Topic of the Day" and everyday discussion.
One "Anonymous" poster writes: "Re: Is Free Republic Biased? Biased? Well, since the site is dominated by paid party operatives and federal employees who allow no dissent from the Bush regime's latest political propaganda releases, you could say that it's more a solid, one way amen corner for the neoconservative cabal than a biased website."
Still another "Anonymous" poster writes:"Re: Is Free Republic Biased? They banned me for complaining about losing my career to outsourcing. They taunted and gloated with perverse kitty pictures, infantile cartoons, and guttural remarks that reveal their mentality. The flames fanned by their hatred are now licking at their heels."
ALIPAC also posts the subject: Conservative Website FREE REPUBLIC Mutinies over Bush Comments" and notes: "With reports coming in from around the nation of a split in the conservative base over the Bush amnesty and open borders plans, the nations most frequented conservative website erupted into a mutiny against Bush policies on Thursday. This article below elicited the response. Please take the time to read this article and the comments of many conservatives that are dismayed by Bush's statements about the Minuteman Project on FreeRepublic.com As many of you know, Free Republic had made previous efforts to control the debate by purging immigration reform users."
What seems to be a fledgling conservative based site, The Conservative Voice appears to seek readership through indexed forums dedicated to the Mother Bird herself, Free Republic. If you were wondering what happens to those little birds that fall or are kicked out of the FR nest (which I know you do not, but makes my play on words work); you might find some of them under the Free Republic Indexed forums over on The Conservative Voice.
and CONSEQUENCES for misbehavior:
Wonder if walking out backwards so it looks like you are walking in, would work?
It's because we like to crush our enemies, drive them before us, and hear the lamentations of their women. I guess it's a kind of FreeRepublic thing.
Hell yes we are biased to the right. However, if you follow a very few and very lenient rules you can post just about anything you want including opinions and articles that are far left.
May I deduct that as a charitable contribution? ;-)
I just got back from TCV. I do believe it will be my first & last visit. I did read the FR post & the MMP - unimpressed, to say the least.
That was in the Minuteman topic.
FreeRepublic Biased topic just had a post 4/16/05 12:19
prior post was 2/26/05 - but who's quibbling....
DING DING DING. ALIPAC is obsessed with two things: Tearing down Jim Robinson and an unhealthy focus on 'gang rape' stories. It's a vile website.
Didn't you hear. They've outsourced FREEPING now. So we are getting paid. . . but not veddy much.
We may seem to you like Amediccans. But we are really from an cll center inn Bengluhlor. Havoont dey tuolud yu?
Shhhhh. Don't tell Willie Brown. He's monkey in the middle. We're going to surprise him on his 60th birthday :)
They need to change the wording on their home page. They are, in my opinion, neither "independent", nor "grass-roots". My opinion is that their leader and his family are accepting payola from the GOP.
I agree with you lemura. Free Republic is a PRIVATE forum.
These people on TCV are just mad because they couldn't come on FR and start running things and stiring up the threads. It's just more liberal whining. Who cares ..??
So that's what is meant by, "an offer you can't refuse" ?
Retard is a compliment?
See post #30
Actually no as it was under FR forum but you do link to the other and does not seem up yet. But who is quibbling... ;)
Plus I did not link to the story as written today..MY FR story on this forum ran today (therefore the date) showing an ongoing forum running daily on a site that really does not get much action. But thanks for your reply and showing that you care. Means alot.
Hey I Just thought we needed some Snap, Crackle and Pop to start the day.
Only the originator of those words knows exactly their meaning at the time they were shared. They are good words, none-the-less.
I can not believe they were intended to include the soap opera, Disney mentalities dressing cats funny and offering these avenging fantasy caricatures as a distraction whenever reality stresses their fragile sensibilities. This seems more like a tactic of those whose intent is to pervert and mock, not defend, conservative ideals.
Wot up dog? You playin' me?
"Don't feel pressured, dawling, zee choice is yours."
Waaaaaaaaa! I want my cut! Waaaaaaaaaaa!
Mommy waaah ping
