"Bulletin board for terrorists"
Commentary by Arnaud de Borchgrave
COMMENTARY SNIPPET: "DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), prodded by NSA, is trying to figure out how to vacuum clean these electronic bulletin boards for coded messages in seemingly innocuous phrases. Blogs would greatly facilitate coordination of terrorist acts at the same time in different parts of the world. The cyber Hoover would be a super Google.com that already processes information with giant databases and super computers capable of several trillion operations per second."

"Police Fear Retaliatory Attack, Vow Crackdown On Gangs (Biker Gangs In Maine)"
Bangor Daily News ^ | April 21, 2005 | Bangor Daily News
Posted on 04/22/2005 2:48:42 AM PDT by MisterRepublican
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "PORTLAND, Maine Portland police fear that a shooting this week at a tattoo parlor may have been the prelude to a turf war among motorcycle gangs and are planning a crackdown in hopes of preventing further violence.
Police Chief Michael Chitwood said he is boosting patrols in anticipation of a retaliatory attack following the shooting Tuesday of a 58-year-old Denmark man at the Portland Tattoo Shop. The bullet grazed the victim's groin before passing through his leg.
Police believe the shooting was a premeditated attack by members of the Outlaws motorcycle gang on a group believed to be allied with Hell's Angels."
FBI Probing Reports Of Fake Hospital Inspectors-WP
NEW YORK --The FBI and other law enforcement agencies are looking into incidents in which people masquerading as unannounced inspectors were found poking around three hospitals in Boston, Detroit and Los Angeles, the Washington Post reported in its Friday editions.
In each case the impostors were stopped by security guards or hospital staff, and then either left or were expelled, the Post reported. No one has been arrested, and neither the identity of the intruders nor their motives are known, the Post reported.
"There is no working hypothesis. It could be any number of things, from identity theft to something more nefarious," an FBI spokesman, who declined to be named, said, according to the Post.
The Department of Homeland Security is also "aware of these suspicious reports," said Brian Roehrkasse, a department spokesman, the Post reported. He added the agency does not have "any intelligence information that indicates al Qaeda is planning an attack or targeting hospitals," according to the Post report.

How are you, granny?
I am praying for you that our Lord sends you the miracle of healing.
Got a little scare today when I called my onc for my latest blood test results. Usually the nurse calls me back with the results. This time the receptionist said the nurse put my file on the doctor's desk for him to call me. I said, please someone just call me with good or bad results, just don't leave me wondering over the weekend.
I'm praying for results that say continued remission.
