Yesterday afternoon, an incident occurred on the Rowayton train tracks. (Rowayton is slightly west of Norwalk CT.)
My son was visiting, and walking a route high above the tracks on the West side, when he noted a group of approximately 20 youths dragging large pieces of metal onto the tracks. Most of the youths wore white tees- like they were on a sports team. 17 were black and 3 were white.

And I mean LARGE, heavy items-it took four or five teens to pile up some of the metal. One item was a large hook they hooked around the track. It seemed any large metal scrap they could find in the area they were piling- and chaining- onto the track for Metro North. This was around 4 PM- prior to rush hour. The kids saw my son (25) watching them and took off toward a nearby school.

My son crossed the tracks and removed the items, having a great deal of trouble lifting some off. Some he could only shove off to the side. The iron hook was especially problematic and took him quite some time to remove.

He believes these items could have caused a derailment. I am wondering where/if to report the incident. Obviously not jihadi kids, but kids who could have caused some serious damage.

Thoughts?
