Prayers for TexasCowboy!
TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.
Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.
So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.
Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!
Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.

Wonderful post.
And Texas Cowboy, I pray that all of G-d's goodness will permeate every part of your body to 100% healing.

(Say, you sure do have classy ranges down in Texas! Roof over your head and everything!) It's either that or get our brains fried. 'Course for some of us, it's too late.

'scuz me please. Someone stole the baby and replaced him with a boy. That ain't no boy. Well I guess he is, but he's always been a tougher man than most of us, way tougher. Sorta like TC, come to think of it.

Beth and I took him a bunch of food (he's complaining about the hospital food)..... and that made him happy. The food or the complaining? Both I would expect.

The food! He hates the hospital food. Even had his daughter fill out a complaint about it. TC enjoys GOOD food. And needs good food right now. We're trying to see that some home cooked meals are taken to him to keep his spirits up.
Thanks for being here for him....

Sorry to be so late to this thread, but nobody pinged me. I went looking for it after I saw TT's new tag line on another thread.
They give him a year and a half to live. Two years at the outside.
They told him that it is a bad cancer.
TC's response, "This cancer aint met me yet!"
The Husband of my office buddy, a retired Army MP, was given 6 months to a year, that was about 3 or 4 years ago. He's still giving her fits trying to spend money they don't have on new tools and other toys. :) Their daughter's live nearby. Both have Army husbands. One is stationed here at Ft. Hood, the other just got back from Afghanistan and is here on his leave, but will be transferred here soon. The latter couple will live with them for a year or three.
Hang tough TC, as I know you will.

The day after surgery I'm generally in the mood to not move at all.But you ain't TC, and neither am I.
I had back surgery for a ruptured disk a couple of years ago. I was still hooked up to the infusion pump until mid day on the second day. At first I was a pushin' that buttom just a bit more often than it would give me any juice. But I will say that by 4-6 hours after surgery I was "behind the curve" and not "asking" for it as often as it would give it to me....but I was still "askin". :)
