Prayers for TexasCowboy!

TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.

Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.

So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.

Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!

Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.

Well, Termite, the Good Lord's heard a lot from me the last couple of days over Cowboy's alleged hip problems--I'd say TC's got some divine mercy coming, now or later, more'n I do, for sure...

But now that you--and a couple of others--have brought it up, I'll have to admit that I'm a mite suspicious: Same hospital as you, Termite? Any particular nurse we should know about?

Then there's the Freepathon; it took us a week, with him ducking out on us!

We just got back from visiting TC and he's in good spirits.

The results of the tests will not be final until Monday a.m. At that time, his team of doctors will meet with him on what they plan to do and when surgery will be. So until then, I really don't have any news on what the "plan of attack" on him is.

All 3 of his children have now arrived at the hospital to take care of their daddy and he's thrilled they are there. His daughter and her husband came in from CA just a couple of hours ago. It's a shame that the family reunion had to be at his bedside, but they're enjoying their visit and time together.

Beth and I took him a bunch of food (he's complaining about the hospital food)..... and that made him happy. He did complain that Logan couldn't come up to see him. We're going to see if we can remedy that tomorrow if he can be wheeled downstairs. So I guess for at least awhile, he's set!! He has lots to eat, we brought him gun magazines and a pair of reading glasses... now if we could just figure out a way to get him out of there!!!

We tried to relate some of the posts and tell him of the pictures, although Valerie.. I hadn't seen this last one! LOL That's about what the ones that are taking care of him look like. Either that, or their males and ...... well we don't need to go further with that.

He knows of the prayers, the well wishes and the fun everyone is having in his behalf. "That's good. That's the way it should be" was his response.

Until he can find a computer to post himself, I'll do his thanking for him.

God bless you all and don't stop praying yet... we have more ahead until this is over.

brer Dix's laptop.. ol' TC needs one, too! He can look at lots of guns online!

We LOVE YOU so much...Do everything the Doc's and Nurses tell You to do even when You don't want to.

We know that You LOVE THE LORD, You are HIS and HE will Not Fail You, so keep Your Eyes and Heart focused on HIM.

May our Risen Messiah Yeshua / Jesus Touch and Heal You with HIS nail scared hands, for HE is able to do so much more than we could ever ask or dream of.
