President Bush and the First Lady attended the "majestic" funeral for Pope John Paul II today in Rome. The President and the First Lady, as well as, Poppy Bush are heading for the Ranch as I'm typing this. The President spoke to the Press Pool on the way back from Rome.. It is a must read, I will post a link to the interview

Laura wears contact lenses, and the wind was gusting in Rome today. I'm sure that's why she was wearing sunglasses. It's a necessity, not an option, for some of us.

I know Laura has allergies. I think that's a good possibility for the reason behind the sunglasses.

The one thing that ANYONE who knows ANYTHING about Laura Bush knows, is that she is one of the most respectful, and respectable people on earth.

The Little House on the Prairie books. I read them all to my son (who is a college senior now)when he was little, and we still refer to things that happened in them. You'll enjoy them as much as she will.

When I wore contacts (for 30 years, in fact) I absolutely had to wear sunglasses in the bright sunlight. No choice. I couldn't see without them.

To read his responses to the Press Corps makes me very proud to call this man my President. GWB gets it! and much like Pope John Paul II, GWB is a rock in a sea of turmoil, and through Grace he will prevail

As I said earlier in the week... I was looking forward to posting tonights ADITL Thread.

I finished my work early today for a change and came home early to post tonights thread before my Grandsons arrived for their visit with their favorite Pop Pop ---> (ME) :-)

I've got the youngest (Zachary) age 5, reading at a 1st Grade level and Michael (age 7) fully capable of surfing the Internet. My Daughter loves to bring them over for me to watch them :-)
