Just heard a "this just in" flash on KFI AM640 in Los Angeles that the police in Las Vegas have executed a search warrant on the home of the woman who found a finger in her Wendy's chili. Police suspect the finger may that of the woman's dead aunt.
I love suspcious minded FReepers!
If true, she should be on the receiving end of a lawsuit.
Yes, anyone with any sense would know to borrow a finger from a stranger.
Gee should we call you Buckhead?
Agreed. Fraud, filing a false police report, not to mention the bad publicity for the innocent party. Nice morals this lady's got.
You guys are too funny!
Gotta be a yuck story that goes with this yuck story......I was hoping it was her dead ant ....not her dead aunt.
My neighbor and good friend is a major executive with Wendys and they have been all over this from the beginning. This woman has a very checkered background and seems she has a criminal history and she also has worked in the medical field. For a little laughter, last Saturday was our card club with our Wendys friend and we put rubber novelty fingers in all the snacks.
Original thread on the story ( or at least on of them ).

Actually tankerKC figured out the Rather thing before buckhead.
My predicting that the woman planted it is absolutely nothing compared to those two.
Soon, I bet she will be willing to give an arm and a leg to get her A$$ out of jail.
gag
Oh. My. Stars.
Las Vegas is such a SH***Y town to BE in....
If one believes anything OUT of LV, one will believe almost anything ABOUT LV!
FReepmail me and ask me how I know. :o]
Yes, but now we get to see who is set up. Just leave her to the Wendy's attorneys. The rest of her life won't be worth living.
You never know what the heck is going to be in chili. Usually it's so damn hot you can't tell or care anyway as long as you've had enough "coldbeer".
If you like chili, you'll like Pendery's in Ft. Worth, Texas. More darn chili powders and hot sauces and spices than you've ever seen. Here: http://www.penderys.com/
And P.S.,...chili is not always supposed to be so dang hot that you can't taste anything. It's supposed to be flavorful and smokey and spicy, not just dragon fire. Chipotles are nice and smokey, habanero's will burn you a new one. Watch out.
I never considered chili to be finger food....until now.
I had hoped it wasn't true (the thought of someone doing that is SICK) but it looks like it.
I'm worried about the aunt -- did she sacrifice her finger for the return of a big payout, was she murdered, or was she recently deceased and the woman thought that no one would know?

It appears that you don't care for finger food....
Lets not forget that there's some poor lady missing a finger out there.
There's laws against defiling a corpse arent there?
