I think I know what FROBL means (FreeRepublic Open Borders Lobby or FRiends of Osama Bin Laden?). What do SOIL and CAL mean?
Because the opposing side objected to the "open borders" tag, saying they were really not in favor of open borders (perhaps only a very few were), we developed what we believe to be a fairer tag: SOILs (Soft On Illegals Lobby). However, since no good deed goes unpunished, it turns out the soft on illegals side also objects to SOILs (our response: tough).
CALS = Criminal Alien Lobby. At the moment, I don't recall which one of us came up with that one. To be fair, not all of the SOILs are also CALs (perhaps only a couple).
I don't necessarily disagree with your approach. I think we should try to persuade people to leave drugs alone. The only thing I disagree with is your assertion that people can become addicted to methamphetamine from one use of the drug. You are convinced that you are right . It's not worth it to me to argue with you about it. I said my piece and I'm done.

Although they may claim otherwise, they certainly cannot, by definition, be conservatives. Some say they lean libertarian on certain issues while others demonstrate total, almost unquestioning, support of President Bush (e.g., the preposterous notion that his guest worker proposal isn't really an amnesty). Setting aside the ones who may in some way benefit from the cheap labor and those who may be ethnically involved, I suspect what we have here, for the most part, is the GOP "Big Tent"/RINO/liberal/moderate factor coming home to roost. It's the only explanation that makes sense to me.
In any event, they seem to share one common trait: they care nothing for American sovereignty, protecting the borders or preserving American culture, language and customs. I find this reprehensible and will continue to oppose such a put-America-last attitude.

Meth is a HUGE problem in Wisconsin, as well. Eventhough I loathe the socialists that run our state government (for now; times are changing) I do give them credit for recognizing Meth for the problem it is, and trying to do something about it.
