A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day....04-05-05....Hello, Dolly!

A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

~ Billie, Mama_Bear, Dutchess, Aquamarine, DollyCali ~

Hello, Dolly,......well, hello, Dolly
It's so nice to have you back where you belong
You're lookin' swell, Dolly.......I can tell, Dolly
You're still glowin'...you're still crowin'...
you're still goin' strong......

From the Broadway Musical "Hello, Dolly"
by Jerry Herman

We have a new sistah!

Please give a warm welcome to Miss DollyCali, who, along with Dutchess, hails from the good state of Ohio (you know - the state that gave Dubya a second term - this year's "Florida"!)
Dolly has agreed (with just a *wee bit* of arm-twisting) to join MamaBear, Dutchess, Aquamarine, The Mayor and me in making sure this place is one of the funnest, friendliest, and finest places on the net! Thank you, Dolly. We look forward to working and playing with you.

So without further ado, let's hear it one more time.......(Louie Armstrong recorded this song with the All Stars in December 1963 before leaving for a tour in Europe. While in England, he found out, the song had hit number one on the charts, replacing the 'Beatles' "She Loves You". He also recorded the song in Paris in 1965)

Pip, would love to hear what you have to say about the Pope, and if you're about finished with it, please send to me and will see what we can do.

I hope you don't take offense, but honestly, I think we are about Terri'd out, and would rather not do another whole thread at the Finest on Terri. It just seems time to let it be. :(

Thanks, Pip. You know, it will be Tuesday next week before we can put it together for an opening, but it takes some time to find and edit graphics and choose backgrounds, etc.

No matter how many or how few words you use, you always put a smile on our faces. Thanks, Johnny Fox. We're excited to have Dolly join us, and it was fun to play on her name in introducing her.

Now it's a two-day-after thingy. I should have posted on April 3 but I got too busy (I only posted on the state board that day). Time flies when you're a political animal.

Now you, you've been hear since FR was two tin cans and a wire inbetween. ;-)
