Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.
I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.

While this is not exactly like Terri's situation, your post reminded me of a story that I recently read.
It was in a real newspaper, so I don't have a link, "Our Sunday Visitor," the April 10, 2005 edition, & the author is Lori Hadacek Chaplin.
It was suggested to the doctor that they pull the plug of a little baby's ventilator, because he had flat brain waves. The doctor did not, and little Joseph went on to receive straight A's in school, run track and play baseball.
STRAIGHT A's. Now can you imagine how smart he would have been if he HAD brain waves when he was an infant? :)
The doctor, Dr. Byrne, is now a clinical professor of pediatrics at the Medical College of Ohio and HAS BEEN A PERSISTENT VOICE against using brain-wave criteria for DETERMINING DEATH.

I can't believe Hannity will ever get over Terri either. My guess is Fox News won't allow him to talk about Terri much. Fox News promoted the Death ghouls while Terri was being Starved/Dehydrated to death.
Hannity was the only person who stood up for Terri on that network. I no longer look to Fox for news. They are nothing but a propaganda arm of the Culture of Death. I have lost my respect for Fox News.
I don't have cable, but if I remember correctly, FoxNews would not allow Drudge to show the pix of the pre-born baby holding the doctor's finger, which is why Drudge left them.
Murdock has contributed $$ to the Dem Party, in recent years, I have read, so is really just in the "conservative" news business for the money.

I was happy to hear the new Pope say there are many kinds of deserts and one of them is the DESERT of HUNGER & THIRST. I couldn't help but wonder what Jeb Bush thought of those words as he listened to them this past Sunday in Rome.

If Jeb Bush had ONE OUNCE OF DECENCY, he would NOT have gone to represent the US at the new Pope's installation. For God's sake - while the Pope was on his death bed and Terri was on her death bed, the Pope begged and pleaded for someone to save Terri's life. And JEB BUSH DID NOTHING!! I am thoroughly disgusted, and I didn't think it could get worse but when I found out they were sending JEB BUSH to represent US, I just couldn't believe it. Another crapping in our faces. This had to be Karl Rove trying to pacify us but instead it just makes us madder!!

Normally I don't feed trolls but do you really believe this? An elderly woman in GA was starved at the order of her grandaughter for about 6 days even though her living will stated she wanted food and hydration. The granddaughter went against her living will.
There is also a woman in Chicago who was being done the same way by a son in law in the past month. Those threads are here on FR.
There is also a thread on FR that suggests people die younger to save the country on medicare costs.
