Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.
I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.
HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.
Thanks, FV
I am an insurgent. For real because I was against Terri being murdered by judicial fiat.
IF YOU ARE A HOT BLONDE, THE FLORIDA HOUSE, SENATE AND GOVERNOR will put get your bill out of committee and watch Kelly get her anti-ritalian bill made into law.
Meanwhile, Terri was forced out, murdered in a barbaric way and nurses who told her jokes were also forced out - FIRED. Three nurses, one from an agency were fired while Terri was being starved because they told Terri jokes and had a relationship with her because SHE WAS COMMUNICATIVE AND A REAL PERSON!

Isn't in interesting that EVERYONE is capitalizing on the work of The Empire Journal. The Empire Journal sponsored the Rally to Rein in The Judges and owns the copyright/trademark. Find it interesting that Tai Aquirre conveniently "forgot" to apprise us that this was airing on his show
These nurses need to get their stories out about Terri and their forced dismissal for disagreeing with the killing of her...big time.
Visit hannity.com or his tv show web site. He interviewed nurse Nora on 3-22-05, the day after she was terminated because Terri laughed at her jokes.
Now there's another child missing. They're making it sound like they think it's a sex offender.
I would have checked to see if my child made it to where I "knew" they were going.
Since starvation has been deemed a merciful death maybe it can replace the injection.

I understand why the Democrats are going after Tom DeLay. Snakes gotta slither, mosquitoes gotta bite, hyenas gotta laugh, and Democrats without a blooming idea in their heads gotta go negative.
I also understand why the New York Times is out soliciting Bob Livingston to write an attack op-ed against Delay (he refused), and why they report legal, ethical, common and specifically Ethics Committee-approved activity like Delay employing relatives on his campaign -- as if it were a crime. The owner and staff of that once great paper are so overwhelmingly committed to the Democratic Party that they are willing to destroy in a short decade the paper's reputation, which was over a hundred years in the making -- to advance the great cause of soft-headed liberalism. (There must be ancient Sulzbergers and Timesmen in their graves crying yet-human tears at the sight of their heirs' profligacy.)
But, as to the couple of Republicans up for re-election in a difficult Northeast district and state who, in the name of their consciences, have said slightly rude things about the majority leader of their party, I can only quote that shrewd discerner of character, Oscar Wilde: "Conscience is but the name which cowardice Fleeing the battle scrawls upon its shield."
I have been a card-carrying Republican since 1963, when my candidate Barry Goldwater suggested cutting off the northeast and letting it float out to sea. It was a good idea back then, and it still has some merit. Too many Republicans up there are born without backbones -- which in the Republican Party is a communicable disease. Any other Republicans currently feeling their knee muscles turning to jelly should wrap their knees tightly, stick a ramrod up their dorsal side and get back in the fight.
They should remember the political maxim that while the law will take care of the guilty, when a politician is innocent of the charges being thrown at him, he can only be brought down by his own side. I have been in a lot of political fights -- from the Goldwater campaign in '64, to almost all of Reagan's fights, to slugging it out side by side with my old boss Newt Gingrich back in the '90s -- and I've never been in one where sacrificing innocent comrades helped in the long run. Human sacrifice had been almost completely extinguished with the passing of the Aztecs -- until the Republican Party came along.
Tom DeLay has been the most effective majority whip in living memory, never having lost a vote. He has engineered passage of every vital piece of Bush legislation as majority leader (sometimes with as little as a single hard-sought vote difference). By his tough work in Texas he has almost assured Republican control of the House for at least another decade. (I say "almost," because a party of nitwits and cowards are capable of throwing away anything.)
And he has done what every able leader of men has been doing since the dawn of man -- he has gone hunting and brought home the meat to nourish the whole tribe. Yes. Money: The lawful collecting of which is the essential condition to politically function. If a political party doesn't have money, it doesn't have a chance.
The last chap to make much of difference in an organized way without money was Jesus Christ -- who along with a good idea had the added advantage of being the son of God. And I can assure any of my fellow Republicans on the Hill or in the media who think the party can thrive without fighting for every last dollar: You have neither the idea nor the parentage to pull it off -- even if there is a Roman numeral after your name.
Tom DeLay has provided (and continues to provide) vital service to the party with his stubborn effort to urge K Street to follow the "one congressman, one former party staffer employed" rule in dishing out its influential positions and dollars. The informal power of Washington reflected in lobbying and public relations firms, trade associations and political law offices had been ludicrously over-represented by Democrats, years after they no longer had the committee chairman or assistant secretaries to justify it -- until Tom DeLay fought for the Washington equivalent of one man, one vote.)
That was an honorable and legal fight -- even though DeLay got plenty of bad press (and its derivative bad image) for doing the work at which daintier Republicans sniffed. In a thousand ways that are hard to publicly spot, the K Street effort helped all Republicans win elections, pass legislation they believed in and generally govern the country. That process will continue as long as K Street continues to respect the manliness of the Republicans.
If a party can be stampeded -- by phony charges and a run of shoddy stories in whorish newspapers -- into dumping their most effective congressional leader, I wouldn't give two cents for their near term future. A party that would voluntarily cut off its own testicles and FedEx them to their opponent as a trophy is not likely to manifest any regenerative powers. That's the thing about losing those organs.

I agree - except I think perhaps it's not "like" but "did"
I got the shivers when I saw Cruise's Movie "Eyes Wide Shut" - I got the feeling that they were showing a part of Scientology - hiding in plain site
Well, up here in Maine - it's been because of a herd of out of state red locusts have been moving up here over the past 3 decades. First thing they do is infiltrate local committee's, town councils, etc - and have stealthily, therefore, tipped the balance.
We OLDE Mainers are still rock=bound old pubs...
Why, in the h*ll should he be negotiating re the filibuster "rule!" Why do the dems have ANY thing to negotiate with on this?
Good gosh, are we the minority or are they!
Stop wasting precious time - the dems are just playing out the clock to keep anything from getting through.
Frist has shown, time and again, that he's a wuss - we need him replaced...
Yes, only Dr. Frist can make Trent Lott seem manly!
I understand why the Democrats are going after Tom DeLay.
Snakes gotta slither, mosquitoes gotta bite, hyenas gotta laugh,
and Democrats without a blooming idea in their heads gotta go
negative. In your face you Liberal lyin', smearing Tom Delay jerks!
Jeb Bush said on Wednesday Mar 23, he had the authority. We were on an 11 hour trip to Florida and the hospice at the time. We almost turned around. Why would he announced that unless he planned to go in.
We went ahead on our trip, expecting him to go in that night. It never happened.
Instead we see an article in the Miami Herald and the San Jose Mercury that he had troops in route, but he pulled them back because the local police said that they would only obey Judge Greer.
It seems like Jeb Bush wants it both ways. He wants Terri's supporters to think he wanted to do something, but he was stymied by Judge Greer. One of the reporters at the hospice believed the troops story was planted by the Governor's office to pretend to Terri's supporters that he planned to do something, but was stopped.
I feel it made him look very weak. He was the one to announce he had the authority. No one else.
It sure is and this sick cult is spreading quietly into the people we never thought it would spread to, our leaders. I'm scared to death!
I use to work for the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Las Colinas/Irving, Texas where the Byron Nelson is held every year. My DH still works there, but to get to my point John Travolta is a regular quite a few times a year. I can tell you personally that he is one sick ticket!! Never met the guy personally(saw him a few times on the job), but I know for a fact he did some very questionable things in his hotel room that the manager of the hotel had to talk to him about. He had done other weird things while i was on staff, but everyone there knows to stay away from him cause he is a freak!
I was listening to Glen Beck today talking about how our Presidant needs to protect our borders and how he hasn't done a good job. He said the American people are so fed up their are grandmas sitting with their guns on the border watching our country themselves since our govt won't do it. I was thinking to myself that it is almost getting to the point that the people will rise up and start taking control of things if our govt won't do it. I hope it will never come to that, but can you blame people for wanting their country to be safe and protected against not only outside evil forces, but our own govt for pete's sake!
Eyes wide shut freeked me out to. It was basically porn!
