Michael Schiavo Supporters on "Hannity & Colmes"
Hannity & Colmes Show | Just Now | Me

Posted on 03/29/2005 6:35:37 PM PST by ozzymandus

Did anybody catch the 2 Michael Schiavo "supporters" on H&C tonight? They were a couple of typical hippie-hags from the far left, who said they went to Florida to counter-demonstrate against the Terri Schiavo supporters, who they called "religious Nazis". Colmes grovelled and slobbered all over them, but Hannity's first question, directed to one of the hags, was, "What does that say on your shirt?". She replied, "Revolutionary Communist Youth League". Brilliant, Alan, just brilliant.

Well time will tell I'm sure. I highly doubt that President Bush cares a lick about popularity polls at this point.

Actually, it's about waaay more than the party.

The pro life movement has been harmed by this and thus, the unborn.

And I think the president can forget about his judicial appointments. That's not about pure political party power. That's about changing the shape of the country via the judicial decisions that will be made in the future.

You know, like the decisions you hate that Judge Greer made.

No, I believe you have it right. Even Barney Franks was apparently back tracking somewhat. They aren't as confidant today, as they were 3 days ago, this will backfire in Reps' faces.

IMO, they believed she would die in 2-3 days tops, and that we'd cease speaking of this. Well neither has occured. Terri is now on her 12th day, and we have no intention of allowing the lies repeated by the MSM to stand.

As I said in the beginning we cannot defeat the MSM's propaganda in a period of a few days, nor can public opinion be transformed in so short a time. But over the long haul? The MSM no longer are that powerful.

This is going to explode in numerous fronts. Judicial, Cultural, euthansia... This is only the beginning of the Fight.

Sorry but even Randall Terry sounds like a rational moderate man compared to the 2 bimbos in the studio with Colmes, talking about the coup and the big money and the plot against Bill Clinton.

They usually say "long time Bush supporter and Christian, or Catholic",just so that the rest of us dumb Bush supporters and Christians can realize the errors of our ways and that the polls tells us all we need to know.

Oh yes... The left, MSM, RINO's, and phony conservatives all spew the lie that if conservatives really do take principled stands, that it will hurt them at the ballot box. But time after time after time, this is proven to be the lie that it is. The question is why the hell are people in this forum spouting this same lie?

I agree with you. The anti-Christian feeling among some of these so-called Republicans is very disturbing. They are particularly hard on Evangelicals and Fundamentalists.

As a traditional prolife Catholic, I am happy to see the conservative wings of the various Christian churches coming together in this tremendous struggle to save Terri Schiavo's life.

I was fearful that the prolife movement was fading away. But the brave men, women, and children outside that killing place, Woodside Hospice, have renewed my hope for the future.

The antilife forces in this country are not going to find it as easy to slip euthanasia legislation in under the radar as they did with abortion.

With abortion, the victims could not speak for themselves.

With euthanasia, the targets of the elite are alive and vocal--the chairbound, the differently abled, the vociferous elderly, etc.

The attempted murder of Terri Schiavo has called forth the "sleeper cells" of the prolife movement.

And this is good.

I entirely agree. The longer Terri lasts, the more the horror of this action sinks in for the general public. It's a horror for Terri and her loved ones, and I do not wish such a prolonged torture on any human or even an animal, but poor Terri is making our point for us.

I couldn't agree with you more in this statement!

" I think that tragedy will make it a lot more likely that GWB will get his judges confirmed."

I thought so too, but there is only one problem. People might say "Why pass another Republican judge like we got with Judge Greer?"
But you would still think getting Bush's chances of getting judges confirmed would be improving. Then again, even the Repub's willingness to resorting to the "nuclear option" is wavering. We'll see soon.

" He never has laid eyes on her, never visited once."

I think that all of us can agree, regardless of which side one falls on, that Terri is comparable to a helpless child.
It is unconscionable that Judge Greer did not oversee the guardianship and welfare of Terri Schiavo.
It appears that Judge Greer gave Michael Schiavo carte blanche over Terri's welfare-without any oversight.
How can anyone in the legal system justify the witholding of sunshine, fresh air, teeth brushing, visits with family, antibiotics, physical therapy, diagnostic testing, consults with specialists and food and water ?
Who will hold Judge Greer accountable for his actions ?

The polls are all predicated on the false assumption that she is a vegetable.
Even Jackson admitted that that was his undestanding until a few days ago when "the facts of the case were presented to him."
The MSM is not reporting all the facts at all, even Colmes sitting there listening to the rebuttal witnesses ie nurses, friends, continues to repeat his little talking points.
Besides GWB did not go by polls for Iraq and I don't think he will go by polls on this issue.
Finally I am extremely proud of anyone who has the nerve to stand up and say this is my opinion and I will stand by it an polls be damned.
I believe that is called leadership.

I disagree- when all of the facts of this case and Greer's actions finally get to the lay people out there- President Bush will have made his case: We need to stop activists judges "COLD"!

Amen

For days I've been asking how standing up for Terri, for life, is hurting the pro life movement. I've yet to get an answer except the usual snipes about Randall Terry.

I'm Catholic, also. The denial of Holy communion for Terri on Easter provoked a huge outcry. And that decision was changed, quickly.

I see nothing but good for the pro lifers by standing up for Terri. Maybe that will be her legacy...Bless her

Begin by explaining why so many federal judiciary appointments made by Republican Presidents have gone so wrong, giving us so many bad anti-freedom, anti-strict-construction decisions. I know why, but I want to see if you know.

If you try to blame liberals or Democrats, you don't know (and I'm not blaming Republicans either.) Do you know why?

He's doing a decent job explaining the Scindler's plight to the media...but just like the commie interview on Hannity and Colmes this evening (she mentioned Randall Terry's website threatening the lives of abortion doctors and listing personal information) someone like Randall Terry speaking for an innocent women like Terri Schiavo adds fuel to the left's pro-choice fire..he lacks credibility because of his abortion clinic tactics etc.
Abortion must end by explaining to women that there is LIFE in the womb...and proving it with Ultrasound. Not with threats and shame. When I hear Randall Terry's name or see his face, I think "fanatic". And so do many others.

Did anyone else notice the AK-47 silhouette on her shirt, by the way? I don't suppose mentioning that her COMMUNIST group is apparently advocating the violent overthrow of the Government of the United States of America is worthy of note...

I caught that too, those two chicks are pathetic, especially that chick with the AK-47 on her shirt. Well, I'll call and raise her with this:

True! If Reagan or Bush had listened to all of the appeasers, compromisers, and cowards in their own parties they never would have accomplished anything. I just have no respect for any of these types. They've sabotaged and betrayed the conservative moment time after time.
