Did anybody catch the 2 Michael Schiavo "supporters" on H&C tonight? They were a couple of typical hippie-hags from the far left, who said they went to Florida to counter-demonstrate against the Terri Schiavo supporters, who they called "religious Nazis". Colmes grovelled and slobbered all over them, but Hannity's first question, directed to one of the hags, was, "What does that say on your shirt?". She replied, "Revolutionary Communist Youth League". Brilliant, Alan, just brilliant.
Hi, PhiKapMom. I haven't seen you in a long time; hope you're doing well. I'm glad you see the larger picture as well and presented it in a compassionate way!
Is it just me, or does anyone else see the resemblance between Alan Colmes and the devil figure in "The Passion of the Christ"?
Seriously, every time I watch that movie, I find the similarity (in appearance) startling.
I think many Republicans here are using this tragedy to weaken the spirit of social conservatives. Ultimately, they seek to marginalize social and Christian conservatives so that abortion rights can be embraced, which they believe will ensure nearly absolute political power.
I don't agree with that at all. In fact, I'm in the camp that thinks those who are seeking to divide are carrying the water of democrats, and the longer this goes on, the more likely it is that Hillary will be our next President.
Aside from that, the tactics employed have been thinly-disguised and shallow.
That was a classic! And so revealing.
"Who should you be most concerned about?"
FUZZY HEADED LIBERAL: "It is outrageous that people are getting only 6 hours sleep!"
CLEAR HEADED CONSERVATIVE: "It is outrageous that an innocent women is getting horribly and cruelly starved to death!"
I thought I was a conservative but if Randall Terry is speaking out for conservatives, I might have to reconsider! :)
Randall Terry has done a lot for the cause of pro-life. Would more conservatives have his backbone and moral charactor.
I entirely agree. The longer Terri lasts, the more the horror of this action sinks in for the general public. It's a horror for Terri and her loved ones, and I do not wish such a prolonged torture on any human or even an animal, but poor Terri is making our point for us.
I think the Catholic church should begin investigations into Sainthood for Terri, if she is not saved and does die of this shameful, cruel action. Yes, I know sainthood takes a lot of steps and miracles. But the process could be started.
I'm asking you for your opinion. Do you think it's right to starve a disabled woman to death who had no living will?
What evidence is there that she committed a miracle? Isn't that necessary for sainthood?
"Colmes didn't bat an eye at the fact that one supporter was an openly declared COMMUNIST. Good grief, Alan."
Newsflash: Liberals don't associate China, Cuba or Russia with communism, they simply say "it hasn't really been tried".
"Oh man are you gonnna get into trouble!!!!! Did you get permission to post that???? lol (I'm kidding)"
i KNOW I'll be in trouble for this one also.

Welll the question will be has she read the court case and the Wolfson report, those are required reading in order to make an informed comment. (s a c)
You could be right. On the other hand, I've never seen a poll that says more than 40%, tops, supports the protestors and keeping the tube in.
I know that polls lie, but FNC had a poll. USA Today. They've all had polls.
If the removal of the tube is based upon the assumption of her wishes, YES. Because THAT is NOT starvation.
This happens hundreds of times a year in the US to people who are considered beyond hope...it has NOTHING to do with guilt or innocence.
It has to do with personal and private life and death decisions that are painful for all involved.
The idea that we now have a bunch of "conservatives" interfering and these public displays of mean-spirited judgmental hysteria by the likes of Randall Terry and company is DEFINITELY going to hurt the Republicans and help the left.
You mark my word. It it happening already.
On one of those few occasions when my mom would say something snide like that, my dad didn't say a word. Instead, he quietly got up, opened the fridge, got the milk out, and poured some in a saucer, then put the saucer on the floor. We didn't have a cat.
She got the point. Meow.
Not only that..anytime there are more than two physicians with opposing views re: one patient, I would tend to STRONGLY question any judge's decision to starve her to death.
These are the very same Republicans that undermine and betray almost every 'truly' conservative effort.
"I've never seen a poll that says more than 40%, tops, supports the protestors and keeping the tube in."
I have
Right here
How has Governor Bush's failure to defy Judge Greer and not have DCF take Terri Schiavo into protective custody affected your view of the Governor?
http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/poll?poll=89;results=1
Composite Opinion
I have lost a great deal of respect for him. Judges need to be reigned in. This was a good opportunity to do so. 28.4% 2,041
No change in respect, but he should have defied Greer. 24.4% 1,757
52.8 %
I don't believe Terri is being killed. And unless the people of FL had changed their laws between 2003 and 2005, the people only have themselves to blame. The end of Terri's life has been coming for a VERY long time. This isn't a quick march to death. The Schindlers lost years ago.
