The glamorous movie star Jada Pinkett Smith created a firestorm at Harvard by openly expressing her love for her husband, actor Will Smith. Her remarks declaring that today's woman "can have it all a loving man, devoted husband, loving children, a fabulous career" offended gay students because of their "hetero-normative content."
The Biseuxal, Gay, Lesbian, Transgender and Supporters Alliance demanded an apology because Smith "implied that standard sexual relationships are only between males and females."
The foundation sponsoring Ms. Smith's visit promptly apologized, and scheduled a series of campus wide meetings to avoid such offensive occasions in the future.
This controversy reveals the radical nature of the so-called gay rights agenda, with its determination to obliterate all relationship norms and to strike back at anyone who speaks warmly of the traditional family.

This just HAS to be a joke.
Your male-normative use of the language is quite offensive and I demand an apology.
Maybe some of us are offended by homo-normative content. But being VRWC members, WHAMs (White, Hetero, Anglo Males), Christians, and so on, we don't count.
This is ridiculous, Harvard has gone down the drain. I am sooooooooo sick of this BS. I would NOT have apologized, by apologizing you admit you did something wrong and personally Jada did nothing wrong.
now you did it, I am offended at you finding that offensive!
Their motto; "If you ain't queer, you ain't here!"
Ok, I apologise. I'm sorry you are a queer.
Exactly.
Drama Queens! How dare you mention that masoginistic, hetero-normative title! You are an insensitive perpetuator of gender chains and must be purged! Off to the Berkeley/NYT Liberal Re-Education Camp (otherwise known as the Democratic Party) with you!
Now you made me laugh.
There's one little "factoid" left out of this story: Will and Jada Smith have an "open marriage." As long as they tell each other, you know?
I live for that. :^}
So, making homo content the norm is ok but any hetero-normative content is offensive. Further, portraying hetero marriages as dysfunctional is appropriate, but you are not allowed to promote them as being arrangements which create happiness.
Isn't this supposed to be the group that touts acceptance for all lifestyles?
"Her remarks declaring that today's woman "can have it all"
I guess that explains her comment.
"My message to the offended...
Suck It Up Flower Ass!"
I couldn't have said it better!
Still, it's pretty telling that "normative" sets off these people.
Hey Teach, they got any apology!
The foundation sponsoring Ms. Smith's visit promptly apologized, and scheduled a series of campus wide meetings to avoid such offensive occasions in the future.
This is not from scrappleface?!?!
Life is becoming a parody...
Ya know, I really believe Michael Medved is one of the true thinkers of our side of the political landscape. I really enjoy his radio show, even though he allows way too many of the left on and not nearly enough of the right.
