And of course you already have links to http://antichomsky.blogspot.com/ there.
And no doubt you've seen http://www.wernercohn.com/Chomsky.html (Partners in Hate). Chomsky is everywhere on the left and the hard right. His skeptical ideas take root among people who question the triumph of western liberal democracy. The irony is that he sees himself as the ultimate liberal.
If you check the last few pages of that thread, you'll also find articles written by Phyllis Chesler and Alan Dershowitz, among other more liberal critics of Chomsky's pseudo-scholarship.
The most interesting part about that thread though, is the fact that hardly any Chomsky acolytes have come forward to defend their guru.
Go figure.
f---ing A, man.
I wish I could figure out a way to help these fools part with their money.
Maybe sell them a F*** Capitalism tee.
Would it be rude to wish that SF slips into the Pacific during the next earthquake?
Its not that hard.
Write a phony book about PNAC and the "conspiracy", make up lots of crazy stuff involving Bush, Rove, Cheney and Haliburton, then sell it to them.
These guys are conspiracy obsessed nuts who will believe anything about the GOP, no matter how ludicrous is sounds, and they will pay money for anything that reinforces their thinking, you can make patches, books, nothing is to absurd that you can't milk them out of cash (what little they have).
How 'bout a McDonald's McAnarchwich?
Tell them the competition is owned by Haliburton, then it'll sell.
I heard they had a special on the "We don't like soap" T-Shirts.
"Question authority!"
"Sez you!"
Which tells me right there that Ms. Whateverhernameis is probably not all that close to even the minimal "fascist beauty standards".
Chomsky acolyte:
Infidels! The Universal Grammar will yet triumph over capitalist linguistic oppression!
How can Chomsky be an Anarchist? He sucks off one of the biggest government t!ts around, doesn't he?
Here's a Marxist article analyzing and criticizing Chomsky's "anarchism"--it's funny watching Marxists and anarchists fight to decide who gets to define the party line:
Heiko Khoo, "Noam Chomsky and Marxism: On the roots of modern authoritarianism" Pt. 1
Although one finds very little written by Chomsky on Lenin or Trotsky, it is impossible not to be struck by how boldly Chomsky makes sweeping (and false) assertions concerning their ideas and actions. Chomsky, as we shall see, considers Lenin and Trotsky as both founders and supporters of the system of tyranny, which Marxists define as Stalinism. Chomskys contemptuous dismissal of Leninism, is based either on intellectual ignorance or deliberate falsification, and appears to emanate almost exclusively from secondary sources.
Heiko Khoo, "Noam Chomsky and Marxism: On the roots of modern authoritarianism" Pt. 2
Chomsky has made a name for himself and is admired by many on the left. Undoubtedly he has written many articles and books, and made many speeches, that provide some useful information. However, when it comes to analyzing the tasks the working class is facing he falls into a trap. He accepts many ideas about Marxism and the Russian revolution that are completely false. By doing this he does a disservice to himself and to the workers and the youth of the world who are looking for a way out of the present nightmare that capitalist society has created. He has every right to hold his views. No genuine socialist or communist would deny this. What he does not have the right to do is to distort and even falsify what genuine Marxism stands for. If he does this he is only helping the enemies of genuine socialism. The capitalist historians, the capitalist media, are constantly working away at trying to confuse the minds of millions of workers and youth. Our task is to combat all this.
Funny! It's interesting to see others criticizing Chomsky using the same terms as David Horowitz would, only on different issues.
The holes in Chomsky's defense appear to be apparent no matter what angle you're looking at him from, except from his own angle looking in the mirror.
