To me the most culpable of the Felos/Greer/Shiavo gang is the judge.

I would like to be able to say that only Judge Greer has stained the honor of the judiciary in ordering this torturous execution of an innocent woman, but frankly, the judiciary has as just as dishonorably upheld him. While he may be throwing black ink on the honor of the court system, it appears to already be a sullied cloth.

Anyone who believed that starvation and dehydration is painless is a fool anyway and is simply burying their head in the sand so as not to think about Terri's pain, and no cameras mean no one has to witness her horrible death. The people in this country are really asking for it to allow this to happen.

I did a search on prior posts for "computer" "simulation" and "photoshop" and got nothing, so here goes:

I know it's a second best answer, but couldn't somebody work with those who have seen her, with the help of a knowledgeable doctor, preferably one who has studied the case, and do a computer rendering of what she actually looks like, and then have the witnesses who saw her say "yes, that's how she was"? Perhaps even do a time-lapse thing to show the deterioration?

This doesn't beat the real deal but it beats a blank by a mile.

If cameras were allowed in that room I strongly suspect that even (the majority of) those who are in favor of starving her to death would be horrified into a change of opinion.

Even if they put the feeding tubes back in, this whole ordeal of starvation / dehydration will probably be played out again at her expense.

Oh, but she's in a permanent vegetative state, so I guess THAT doesn't even matter.

I'd love to take these doctors and judges, lock them in a room with no food or water and see how freakin' euphoric they feel after a week.
