MSNBC reported that the Schindlers are back in court asking Judge Greer to recuse himself and that Terri's father says Terri told him, 'I want to live,' and on that basis, the feeding tube should be put back in.

Wow! A very direct approach. I sure hope it works. I have been praying all day for somebody to do something. I suddenly feel hopeful, I don't know why.

Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, and please treat anything I saw about legal matters as from being from a complete layman.
I have some hope on the 11th Circuit; if they give Judge Whittemore's second decision a careful look, I believe that they will find it deficient:

Also, I think that Judge Wilson's arguments in his dissent now are even more compelling than they were earlier in the week, with Mrs. Schiavo now in extremis. (However, I would not expect that Judge Wilson's arguments from his dissent will again be considered by the 11th.)

Deferring to the courts is the worst mistake they are making.

Me, too. O Lord, You can still work a miracle. Please help Terri hang on and please inspire these judges to order Terri back on IVs. Amen.

I don't know how a man who is obviously on the take some how, be it bribery, or favors, or trying to cover his track for errors in judicial judgement, is going to 'recuse' himself and vacate. It would be like higher ups from Enron quitting while the Federal auditors are outside the door...at least the documents have to be burnt.

They could do an IV drip with water immediately. It's not the lack of food that is killing her, it's the dehydration. It's amazing she lived this long without water. These demons want to turn the earth into hell.

"Terri's father says Terri told him, 'I want to live,' "
If they think she is in a persistent vegetative state, there is no way they will find this credible. Not to mention the fact that assuming this is the first time he thought to say this, it's a little absurd.

MSNBC reported that the Schindlers are back in court asking Judge Greer to recuse himself and that Terri's father says Terri told him, 'I want to live,' and on that basis, the feeding tube should be put back in. When did she say 'I want to live'? HOW did she say it? Is this 'Emergency Hearing' based on fact, or nice-sounding fiction? I'm asking in seriousness now, not any facetiousness... Last I heard, Terri can't speak, so how, and when, did she say this?

I think they would start with IVs first.
If the port the tube had been inserted into is still open, it could go back in right away, but again, I think they would do IVs first.
If the port has closed (think tissue growing back together), then it would require a surgery, though not a lengthy surgery.
