Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
I never watch Fox on weekends.
And my viewership of Fox has significantly dwindled over the past year or two....significantly decreasing this past two weeks, most especially. Their coverage concerning Terri has been shameful, with the exception of Hannity, Gibson, and Fred Barnes. And they are now the only ones I will watch.
Plea to Gov Jeb Bush: "You have the power to save my daughter," Mary Schindler said. "It has been seven days. Please, please do something."
Bob Schindler said Bush had "put Terri through a week of hell and my family through a week of hell by not acting. And I implore him to put a stop to this. This is judicial homicide."

Nor will I.
Nor I
Ok, I'm all ears.... waiting.... waiting.... waiting....
Thank you for the valley I walk through today. The darker the valley, the more I learn to pray. I found you where the living, threw me by the way. And I thank you for the valley I walk through today.
Life can't be a sunshine or the flowers would die. The rivers would be desert, all barren and dry. Life can't be all blessing, or there'd be no need to pray. So I thank you for the valley I walk through today.
Thank you for every hill I've climbed, for every time the sun didn't shine. Thank you for every lonely night. I prayed til I knew everything was all right And I thank you for the valley I walk through today.

Me too. I am so dissapointed in Fox that I rarely watch them anymore ( exception Hannity). I have been watching Joe Scarbough on MSNBC but ONLY him.
already ignoring Deejay. We don't need that here!!
We have to pray for God's will to be done, even if it's not what we think God's will is, or what we want God's will to be. What I am praying is:
Our Father in Heaven, I commit the hands of the leaders here, especially Jeb and George Bush into your hands. Open their hearts and minds to your will, and may they do what you ask them to. Not my will counts, o Lord, but thine. Have mercy on the dying, and those who watch and wait, especially on the Schindlers and Terrim and lead us always, ever closer to you. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
Amen, Knitting. I couldn't have said it better. I agree with you in prayer. I think God has a far greater and bigger plan than we can imagine ... there are too many people crying out to Him right now, and His answer to our cries may not be to specifically save Terri (tho we still hope and pray that He will) but something greater and bigger than Terri. It's not a horrible thing for Terri to go home to be with Him. It's horrible that people are murdering her, but her actual Home-going is a victory that they know nothing about.
Lord Jesus take control of this situation!!
I've been hearing good things about Scarbough's coverage...and read a transcript someone posted. I was amazed.
Praying.
Praying VERY hard for a miracle.
Come ON already....Judge Greer!
Praying.
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Speaking of John Gibson, he was subbing on the radio the other day for O'Reilly.
Gibson told of his wife's grandmother who was very sick in Florida, so his wife went down there to visit her.
She found her grandmother in the nursing home or hospital in what was described to her as a vegetative state. The nurses were telling her it was all over. Mrs. Gibson said please just do some blood work on her.
Guess what? The grandmother's blood sugar level was at zero. She was in diabetic shock. They were going to let her die because they misdiagnosed her. Once they fixed her problem, she lived on for 2 more years.
