Yes, just a sec...
Jeb is duty bound and morally bound to do a lot of things he simply will not do... once again.. if i'm wrong, i'll still eat that hat... but I think, like terri, I'll be going hungry...
I wish I had a fax, but I'm happy that my friends here do. :)
Lord,
have mercy,
Christ
have mercy,
Lord have mercy.
Lord have mercy
on a nation that lets evil be done in the name of good.
Lord have mercy
on a nation that lets evil be done for political gain
Lord have mercy
on a nation that lets so many celebrate evil in the name of free choice
Lord have mercy on a nation allows evil in the name of personal right.
Have mercy on us Lord,
for those of us who have not spoken out
when we saw the evil done,
have mercy on us Lord,
for those who knew the consequences of our actions,
but did them anyway
because they felt good
or seemed appropriate
even though they encouraged the dark.
O Lord, you are light
Teach us to be laterns for your light
to carry your truth everywhere
to shine light into the crevasses where darkness hides,
this day, and always,
Amen.
Is there any news from FloridaVoter? Does anyone know if Terri's family has been in to see her today? I keep praying that Governor Bush will save Terri and not let one judge rule our state of Florida!
((cajungirl))
Hearing is over with. Judge told the Governor that he is no longer the Governor.
Fox says still waiting for Greers ruling on Jebs "request" for custody.
Right....sure.....you keep waiting, Jeb.
(((((((Hugs)))))) Pollywog, I think many of our hearts are ripped beyond words, and if ours are, how much more so our Lord's heart as He sees what is being done to one of His precious ones.
Lord, we come before You right now and ask you to give wisdom to Governor Bush, President Bush, to the DCF, and to anyone else involved in trying to make a decision right now as to what to do next. We thank You Lord for President Bush's strong consistent stand for doing what is right ABOVE whatever backlash there may be, and he has had plenty of it. Give him and Gov Bush courage, Lord, and clarity of mind as we all approach the criticalness of this situation.
Preserve Terri's life according to Your will. Give her parents and brother and sister strength. Bless them for their graciousness and reward their faithfulness.
We commit it all to You, in Jesus' Name.
Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
That would lift up millions in this nation if he would...it would be terrific!
That was beautiful, thanks!
AMEN!

I am at a loss for words. I am just praying.
I am a Republican to the end. My Party was with me in this... all along the way.
I think that is "It might have been."
Jeb Bush or George Bush needs to put Terri in protective custody, and they CAN do it.

Wampus, remember that famous line from the popular liberal Dean Rusk in 1962: "We were eyeball to eyeball with the enemy, and the other guy just blinked."
Well, now poor Jeb is eyeball to eyeball with the enemy, and he has either just blinked too, or he doesn't have a clue what he is allowing to happen on his watch. I am surprised that the state police has refused any direction from Bush: are they protected through civil service perhaps? Bush is showing that he is politically irrelevant: the worse thing that can happen to a politician. Why would someone run for governor when he can be a county probabe judge in FL and run the state from Pinellas County?
